So, one of my plants hit the glass screen of the cooled hood that I'm using maybe a week ago. The leaves have kinda grown out retarded and its not looking very happy. Overall the plant is going nicely, and the head is starting to bud up. I'm considering topping it, and letting the plant respond by bulking up the other areas instead of worrying about this main cola. Plant is a Super Silver Haze Thoughts.

Hi, My shit don't smell. That is, its over 3 weeks into flowering, has lovely flowers everywhere that are well on their way to becoming buds but there is no real change in smell. Nothing powerful or distinctive. I call this strain, "Cullan Street Bagseed" - for reasons that would be apparent to Aussies with a long term involvement in cannabis culture - so I know basically nothing about what strain it came from. I'm worried that maybe I got plain hemp seeds instead of a potent strain, or perhaps just plain 'bush bud' rather than something that comes from a cultivated/bred variety. I won't really know I guess until I harvest it, but the lack of smell is a worry. …

Earlier this year I grew an autoflowering Northern lights (Vision) in a 1 cubic metre room, went well, was a good size and I ended up with 60 grams of very nice bud. So next I tried an autoflowering superskunk, this one grew and grew and grew until it completely filled the room and cut off all the ventilation. In desperation I took it outside to a greenhouse where it caught terminal botrytis and slowly died. So back to the Northern lights (as I know they work) put two in this time and they have grown and grown and grown. Day 60 now and they have hit the roof and almost filled the room. These are obviously not going to flower without reducing the light period. Guess …

Running 400W HPS in 1mx1mx2m tent in central Vic. It's exactly 21 days since I flipped to 12/12 and all of a sudden with the increase in outdoor daytime temps I'm seeing temps in the tent soar to 33 degrees at the end of lights out. I've currently got the lights on from 5am to 5 pm but am thinking it would be better to run them from about 8pm to 8am during the night instead. Would changing over stress the plants? Best to doing a one off night period of 27 hours and then move to new schedule? Any advice welcome. Cheers

Stacked OG Kush in soil and 20% perlite. Using Montys Organic Fertiliser and Wise Wallys Superfeed [worm fertiliser]. She is showing leaves curling downwards and tip burns. Leaf curling seems to be confined towards the bottom of the plant. 2 other plants, Grapefruit and Skunk #1 showing none of these problems. I flushed yesterday with about 5L water because I assumed it was nute burn, now I'm wondering if it's not overwatered in which case I've probably exacerbated the problem! Photos aren't great cause its bloody windy here today. Any advice welcome.

These 2 plants were about 12 inches away from the bottom part of a large reflector w/600W MH. The heat coming off the inner sides of the reflector under which the plants were sitting is fairly intense, I'd say hot enough to dry out a piece of bread in a couple of minute but not hot enough to start turning it brown. The affected leaves feel quite brittle, but I can still bend them without breaking them apart. Ambient temps are around 25.5 - 27.5, humidity is around 30%. I also fed these plants a couple of days ago, so there is the possiblity its nut burn or maybe even pH flux as the pH was a tad lower than usual. Thanks.

Urgently looking for help. My garden is in complete meltdown. I have plants ranging from 4 to 8 weeks. Grown from seed there providence is a complete mystery. All started strongly yet began to deteriorate at the 3 week stage. They were planted in Sealy's Premium (Aust. soil mix) with 20/1 mix of manure mix and perlite. Initial seedlings under 400 watt LED, learnt and remaining seedlings kept under a 4x36 watt T8 fluoro array. This is where it goes to shit. PH 6.2 – 7.0 (non digital measurement) Temp 24 – 28 Celsius Nutrients – Canna Terra Room is ventilated. Lights on 18/6 (1) Growth has been slow and has almost stopped in places (2) Plants display numerous symptoms o…
