My plants have spider mite...AGAIN... * sigh *. I lost some plants to mite a while back so I've been keeping an eye on it and luckily I think I've caught it early. I've been reading an earlier thread in here about it, and made a note of apparent cures, and I have a couple of questions. Firstly, with the white oil and neem oil, where do I buy them and do they need to be diluted, and if so to what ratio. I read that lemon juice will kill the mite, and growing garlic in with the plants will act as a deterrent, I prefer to use the least chemicals the better, so are these two suggestions likely to be good? Hello every1,Friend got some cuttings he rooted em under growlux fluro n heat pad used large rockwool cubes left under fluro 13 days then put in space 1.5 by 1.5metre using 2 600 hps then he give nutes first 1/4 strenth then 1/4 again the next morning half strenth etc until the leaves started to look thin and like claws the tips of the leaves have gone a brownish/purpleish colour this is nute burn yes?He flused last night using 4 litres per plant was that enough?They r looking better new growth etc but some of the new growth has slight tip burn aswell,they are in big pots with perlite the lights wouldnt be 2 close i hope can that make tips ugly etc as on 24/7 2 the lig…

hi, I have white stuff on the leaves, like a powder I can rub off. I live in canberra and it is getting cold, I planted her late and I want to maximuse budding (yeah there are buds) should I just pull her now ?

Hi Guys, I've been flowering for 10 days now and still no white hairs I'm pretty sure my plants are male, they have tiny balls at each internode. I've attached a (not so clear) pic, can anyone confirm their sex? Cheers dwyndorf

Hi everybody, I'm new to oz stoners posting but i've been sussn it out for weeks. Lots of great topic and good feedback! keep it up!! Now here's my drama- i have 3 female plants growing in soil which has no extra conditioners added (perlite n such), but i used a couple hand fulls of expanded clay in the bottoms for extra drainage. I water them when needed and always watch not to overwater or overfeed (i use dynamic lifter in liquid concentrate, also use an addative called mega-bud by grow australia) 2 plants are of an unknown indica variety and one mainly sativa. The sativa elongated to the max and looks really pathetic, but the 2 indicas look n smell awesome but …

My last crop i grew a hermi and a few ppl told me the way to get femed seeds was to pollinate a female plant with a hermi, which i did, now Im growing these new seeds out, the first one has turned out a hermi, there are only a few male sacks half way up the plant. now, My problem is, very close to this flowering plant i have a veg room with seedlings in it. Will pollen only pollinate another in flower or can they get cumed on in veg? this is what i need to know. Also, i dont have alot of plants atm, so would it be worth keeping the hermi and growing it out? if so should i cut male balls off or leave em on? Thx

Hello all, I have a problem, my plant is not doing well, its growing fine and all, but it LOOKS like it has a problem. You see, pretty much all the leaf tips are curled under, some even slightly twisted. I don't have this problem with my other plant, so I dont think its bugs. For both of them i'm just using osmocote and a little bit of Nitrophoska for measure. Anybody know what the hell is going on?

I think my 22cm plant is flowering. Im not sure, unfortunately I am unable to post a picture, but will as soon as possible. I think there are preflowers inbetween the nodes, leaves are devleloping there and the plant is starting to smell like bud. Also the plant is looking a little ragged. The leaves are slightly curled under, some more so, no problems with insects. If anyone can gather anything from what i've said here, id appreciate some advice. If it helps my plants are in Perlite/Vermiculite/potting soil. I use 2 x Power-glo 20W fluorescent and 2 x 18W cool whites. I dont have a venilation fan. But i do have a large desk fan that I blow in there for about half an hour…

These babies have been in the blue-light vegetation room for about 2-4 months and recently was attacked by (I had thought) a large insect. This insect made it's home on the up until then healty plants. I thought it might have been a good guy so I left it there as I do with lady bugs and spiders. After about a week I noticed some of the leaves of the plant it was on curling, forming inverse half tubes out of the sickly leaves. A quick spray of pyrithum and the bug was dead. Anti-joy and the poblem's continue having spread to half the room in two weeks. I have used Bio-Bugs for over a year and have had no insect problems at all so I'm at loss to what this is caused by. i have a problem with my new mother plant the leaf tips seem to be turning dark brown and curling up its kinda like a patchy/full brown on the tips nutrients are being feed at 1/4th i was watering daily with fresh water and once/twice a week with 1/4th nutrient strength all i have is a small pot filled with expanded clay and a spil tray (hand watered) what is going on?

Ok, heres the problem! A few of my branches have started to dye off, only the smaller ones but its shitting me the leaves yellow and have sort of grey tips on the leaves, i think it might either bt over fertalizing or under? what yopu experts think? Its not the main branches i must had only the ones which seem to be little thin pricks.
