Curling leaves.

HELP!

I need to know if i am doing something wrong.

Checked my plants and it is healthy looking,except fpr the tips of the leaves are turning brown and the leaf eventually dies. I have not been using fertilsers as i noticed this about a week ago and am just giving rain water at the moment.

I raised the light up another 10cm's as i think the curling may be heat related(?).

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks EMP,looks very similar to the problem i have.The only diff is my plant is bigger,which is the frustrating part!

Ok, i was a bit vague with the info !

Have had it growing in 6 inch pot,which i have now transplanted to a 11 inch pot,as it was root-bound.

I am using soil as a growing medium,potting mix,potting peat,and river sand,with a handful of Osmocote slow release stuff thrown in.

It is in the 3rd week of 12/12 and is 8 inches tall (sad,but true!)

Can i use full strength ferts now,or do i dilute for a while until it settles down ?

Any more info will be greatly appreciated.

Give it a little Superthrive next time,

is slow release ferts ok????
