Hi all I posted a couple of months ago asking if I could cut out large buds and branches ( approx 10-12 inches) at 7 weeks and let the rest of the crop go for another 2 weeks. I have done that, but noticed that in the 9th week a lot of the bud leaves turned a purplish hue. I have never let the crop go past 8 weeks before, and trichs were no where near amber, not even at 9 weeks and 4 days. Could this just be the strain ( no idea what strain I have), or is this a deficiency of some sort. Help appreciated aussie

Why good ventilation is needed and what can happen when you dont have good air flow to help keep moisture down. You will get a build up of moisture in the tight areas of the buds that dosent dry out with good air movement around the plants to help dry out those little moist spots and in time it can cause mold and Bud Rot ...

recently got a gift of 4 celtic stone clones in the mail. when they arrived there were sopping wet, both the cubes and the plants themselves. I think a little mold or some sort of infection took hold, they were definitely in shock anyway and drooped badly. here's a pic an hour or so after they were unpacked I put them under a couple of fluros. the box was well ventilated and the room it was in was airconditioned. I gave them canna nutes at 1.0 ec, ph 5.8, with some oxyplus and superthrive and just hoped they recovered... here is a closeup of one of some sick leaves:

What are the chances of a main branch repairing itself when it has just suffered a major trauma? I hooked my sleeve on a branch that is attached to the main stem and snapped it halfway through right at the node! I gaffa taped it back together and am hoping for the best but I'll be pissed if I lose it as it has heaps of flowering sites on it... Is there anything else I can do? Jimbo- clumsy bastard -Jones

This image shows a plant that has suffered an accidental injury. The top lateral shoot or branch was snapped through approximately 60% and we want to save it as there is important bud sites on the shoot. When the snap occurred the branch was immediately placed back in position and bound with a small piece of tape but clean material or a splint would have been better (ziplocks and matchsticks). The position of the break made it difficult to apply a splint as well and would be better applied to a break further down the shoot. The idea is to make a support stand beneath the branch so that the faces of the two sides of the wound will be pressed together snuggly. The sup…

Hey, I've currently got 2 baby plants under fluros. http://img475.imageshack.us/img475/5324/dsc0278ay8.jpg One's stretched a little more and seems to have started yellowing on the end. The other, more stocky plant seems to be suffering from only I can hypothesize to be maybe light burn? Probably light burn: http://img167.imageshack.us/img167/9018/dsc0276yc3.jpg Yellowing tips: http://img167.imageshack.us/img167/6176/dsc0277go0.jpg Any help in what I can do to fix these babies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Allo allo. I've got a cupboard grow going into week 4 of flower and the girls are 30cm from my 600w cool tube at its highest point. Can anyone recommend a product that will slow down the vertical growth or is it too late in flower for any benefit ( 4 weeks to go). Plus anything that will help next time, apart from genetics......cheers

I don't know whether this is bad or not but this morning I looked at the plants and there is dark green moss/algae growing on top of the cubes. They were due to be placed into the main growing pots today but I am not sure if I should? I scraped the moss off the top as well as I could without disturbing the roots/plant - does anyone know what the go is??? Jimbo
