Correct anything at will here; just thinking out loud. Firstly what makes a good male? Secondly is there any real need to have a male if giberellins are used in the breeding process? I guess it would if a hybrid was the end goal; but probably not if the desired strain was stabilised. Is it still possible to obtain pure sativa, pure indica & pure ruderallis strains of both? Has any further work been done with Abscisic acid? Can anyone recommend a simpletons guide to marijuana breeding? Where would one obtain these hormones?

G'day everyone, I have been growing for years and at last have decided to create my own seed stock. I had some pollen saved up from some "Blue God" that I got some seeds for when I was over in Vancouver a couple of years ago and decided to cross it with a strain that I have had for a while (don't know the name) that is very chunky and matures really quickly (7 or 8 weeks). Anyway the breeding went well and the plant has quite a few seeds on it and though the bud looks ready and normally I would cut it down at this stage, the seeds still look a little immature/green and I was wondering if they ripen (darken) on the plant or if they darken up in the drying process. I posted the same thing today at PS but couldn't get into this site for some reason. Anyway this is the most fucking coolest thing i have ever seen. A friend showed me one unholy mutant yesterday. It looks like bud but just in a deformed gollum way. Apparently when it is growing it looks nothing like weed at all. All the fingers have joined together and the growth is twisted. Seems to me since the old "Talk strain" forum has disapeard. (has it or is it just in my head?) and that different strains just aren't being discussed anymore. Gotta say that this was one of my favorite sub forums. Yes there is the "strainguide" but that dosen't allow for any discussion on strains only reviews. So is this the right place to discuss strains? If it is why isn't anyone using it anymore? Something went pear shaped imo...

Well I got my package in the mail today from plantet skunk, and upon opening i was excited to find a free pack of 10 'australian blue x sugar babe' seeds. has anyone had experience with this hybrid or either of the strains individualy? going to veg them inside and plant them out for this years outdoor season.

Good Day everyone I just found out the other day that 2 out of 3 of my plants are male not sure about the 3rd yet was hoping for one as i've never had a male plant before but not 2 and seeds are better for me as I don't smoke much anymore but still like to have a plant anyway I have some lowryder seeds do you think I would have time to grow a female lowryder to breed with my males and how long do they make pollen for also as it's hard to find info on male plants any other info would be great too hope your having better luck outdoors this year

Hey guys, So im getting closer to building my sweet SS white heven grow room. Thanks SS for the info <3 So its about time to order mah seed's I have grown before (Outdoors) and hydro systems have been a great intrest of mine for a few years so I have done quite a bit of research into good ways of growing Hydro. I am going to be growing 4 plants, 2 different strains. under either a 400 or 600 watter, using 30% expanded clay, 70% Perlite. gday heres a shot of the herijuana in this photo it is some 13 days into flower dont quote me but i think the beans came from the alien cafe in the motherland.. she takes a steady 10 weeks to flower to her potential atm i thimk the only place to get beans for this strain is threw meduser.ca too many hoops to jump threw for me to get some beans... anyway with heri its happy daze imo bil
