Howdy guys, I am just curious... is Sativa/crosses handle higher temps better than indicas? I mean if a grower wants to grow indoors in summers or warmer times of the year specially those living in tropical areas where the grow boxes/rooms usually will have higher than normal temps. Sativas suitable for indoors in summer? Even they take longer and all that usual sativa information. I was thinking that because Sativas usually comes from tropical areas like Thai, Malawi Gold and many South American and African Sativa strains, etc etc so meaning do they tolerence higher/very warm grow boxes better than indicas? G'day, I know nothing about cloning - never done it before but figure i;ll need to soon.. just need a bit of pre-crop dodah... not too scientific but... 1. anyone got some picys of a branch where you would cut to make a clone? put a little purple or red mark/line where you would cut... 2. at what stage of development is it best to take your clone? 3. can you stick your clone in those little squares of seed raising material thats all over the place at hydro shops?? 4. what is the optimal size of a new clone.. 5. is it ok to clone from a pollenated female?? thanks, any imo's would help hugely ...putard

i've never collected pollen befor and herd of some one saying that they were going to mix it with flour.i know that in normal gardening ppl mix sand with very small seed to get an even spread when they plant them and im guessing that is the reason to mix the pollen with flour. but was i wanting to know if using flour was safe or even needed.happy herb.

I have just finished my first harvest :: and I am looking at using my outdoor mothers as the basis for my next grow. Now, I have one each of thai, indica dom and heavy sativa dom (I think, but that's what I refer to them as.) These plants have been grown outside hydroponically (either perlite or perlite/coco mix) and are around 3 months old. The indica dom is starting to flower, and she looks like she'll be magnificent! So far she's resisted both spider-mites and whitefly, two pests I've had a great deal of trouble with on the other strains. Howdy, This is a very simple post for fairly new growers on making seed. I'm sure many people on the board have more knowledge on the subject, but this is my stab at a guide. MAKING SEED OF YOUR SEED: If you are just interested in getting some seeds to swap it is fairly simple. Get seeds of an IBL (AKA: True Breeding Strain) such as Skunk. i am germinating 10 top44 seeds and have a flood and drain hydro system i also have 2 metal hiliade lihts,,my question is will they do ok in the closet, and what stage should i flower them [at what hight]

i just recently bought weed from my neighborhood drug dealer and i found about 4 seeds in them. the weed was pretty good and i was wondering would it be alright to germinate and grow them. many thanks peace

talking to a freind today and was talking to him about some good strains ,he says to me there ALL THE SAME?.well i dont think so and then he says if you can get your hands on maple indica seeds i'll have 40 or 50 seeds .well what a turn around. well the convo changed and i wasnt able to pick him up on that.so i'd like to know if anybody has heard of this and why is it so good.happy herb.
