Hi guys, Some people are always looking to reduce their "stretch" period of flower. Extra light, light spectrum, lowered N levels etc. and sometimes even pgrs... Just stumbled upon this article the other night... thought it may add good food for thought/discussion on the viability of this technique And the full article which you should also read... http://extension.umass.edu/floriculture/fact-sheets/controlling-plant-height-without-chemicals A cold blast for 2hr upon lights on....? What are your thoughts...? Peace!

Unfortunatly i left my plants veg alittle to long & have had to lollypop them 12 days into buding. Was this too late? If you're going to lollypop a plant for buding, how soon should it be done before you switch it to bud. Any info would be great... Thanks

Hey guys just a quickie, these are around 26 days old from seed now and are sitting under 2 x 250W cfl and 1 x 200w LED for vegging, As ive said in the diary they look a little condensed and bushy to me and was wondering if i should trim all the really small leaves and if it will actually benefit the vegging process at this stage... But im also afraid of getting rid of potential bud sites.... Is there an issue with flowering if the nodes are really close to each other light this ? This one i already trimmed a few bits off.. And these two i left alone and they look really bushy..

Hi, some people I know live in a rental but have a 2m plant out of sight down the back of the yard that is just starting to flower the owners daughter has split with her husband and wanting to move into the house, they have been given 3 weeks notice They have secured a canna friendly place to move to (they know the owner) and would like to be able to save their plant by relocating it to the new house but don't know if its possible or what to do. Advice would be appreciated.

Ok so ive been doing a bit more research into the DWC method and it seems like a really good way to grow. Theres a few things im still not sure about so im hoping some gurus can shed some light. What size pot do you go for ? Ive seen some video tutorials about this and some say 3" pot and some say 6" pot, that seems a little bit small ? ( im talking about the pot that sits on the lid not the pot that holds the water / solution ) Do you still have to have some kind of soil or mix in the pot to give the plant some structure? like in the photo below can you go for say 80% of clay pebbles or hydrocorn / hydroton and then soil on top of it ? or would you just go 100% clay …

Ok so i have 6 sativas growing outdoors. They are starting to show sex. 4 are female, 1 is male and one not sure yet. Any way i want to pollinate a branch of my healthiest female for seeds for next year.. but all my plants are in the same area. and dont want to pollinate them all. How would i go about doing this?? Take cuttings of the male (then get rid of it) to make clones and keep them somewhere where they cant get the females till i get pollen from them? OR can i wait for the balls to become more mature then cut the top off the plant and leave the stem in water? (i read that somewhere) Any advice would be helpful Thanks

EBB-12 Ebb & Gro Hydroponic System • A smaller reservoir (55 gallons) can be used with less water compared to flood & drain tables. • Reservoir does not have to be lower than the plants! • The EBB-CTR controller is all you need to control all pumping and level control functions. • “Active” hydroponics system compared to rockwool resulting in faster growth and larger yields. Description The Ebb & Gro system is a multi-pot hydroponics system that uses two 2 gallon buckets and clay Hydroton as a growing medium. The two buckets are nested one on top of the other, the top bucket holds the Hydroton and the lower bucket holds and catches the nutrient water…

Gday, Does anyone know any good ideas for slowing growth for a particular branch? i've attached an amazing paint drawing to help illustrate what I mean Should the bottom set of branches just be pruned off as the sets above will always be shading it or is the a way to slow the upper branches so the bottom branches can make it clear out the side? Cheers ps. Id love to hear some peoples pruning methods for their plants. ie. Do you prune the branches to grow the same way every time like topping on the 4th set, taking off particular branches, the same amount of colas etc
