I'd like to start a discussion about organic growing, particularly using living organic soils, pro-biotic and no-till growing techniques. I build artisan quality living organic soil at a semi-commercial scale and would love to hear from the general community. Cheers!

Hi there folks! Getting some seeds for my Dad to grow who is in chronic pain. Even if he does go to a Dr to get the meds I believe its very pricey if he were to be prescribed with it so we have taken the route of seeds. I therefore wondered if anyone can help advise me as to: What soil What food Amount of water per day Temperatures Indoors or outdoors Fans needed? How much darkness / light etc Very new to this and need some guidance if possible folks Thanks!!

Hey guys, So it’s my first grow about and about 2 weeks ago I gave my plant which is outdoor and I’m pretty sure it’s a clone of white widow, blood and bone for the first time, before that I had just been watering her frequently and haven’t used anything else or gave it anything else, but since using blood and bone I’ve noticed some of my leaves starting to turn brown, curling and it being really dry on the tips of the leaves, I’ve attached some photos, Can someone help me with what they think is going on and how I can fix this and what is the best thing I can do as I’m really unsure I’ve never done this before and I don’t want it to fuck my plant if I haven’t alre…

Hi guys Happy new year So my girls are coming along nicely I believe but last years grow was the experiment and this year I’m actually using nutrients a and b mills 3 x a week and some ozi magic outdoor once a week I’m a bit concerned with the bright green colouration on the bud sites where they will be coming through as I know the darker the better , well according to other posts I’ve read over the last year . The attached pictures are Durban poison a pure stativa. Going into a hydroponic shop they will or might try sell me something I really don’t need ! Two questions please 1. With a lighter green on the bud sites is their a real deficiency? 2. From pe…

I'm in FNQ - so we get very little difference between daylight hours in summer and winter. So little difference in fact that I have issues with outdoor grows. Any seeds purchased from seedbanks seem to go straight to flower resulting in plants under 1 foot with about 2/3 grams of dried bud - pretty much pointless. By using local bushbud seed I could get around the issue somewhat, but that just left me growing crappy weed that was half male most of the time. So for years I've been growing indoors in a little cupboard. LEDS were a godsend for me as it meant heat wasn't the issue it once was. For the last year I've been putting starting 2 seeds in soil in the cupboard ab…

Hey guys, So while I was at work today I asked my girlfriend to grab some potting mix and grab some mini greenhouse/seedling trays from Bunnings to plant some seeds I had soaking that just sprouted the tips of their tap roots. I told her to put them in the sun but when I got home I felt the plastic and realised the Gemini greenhouses and soil was quite hot and looked up online that you’re supposed to leave them in indirect sunlight [emoji2357]. They would’ve been outside in the sun for 6 or so hours, just wondering if anyone has an opinion on if the seeds will still be okay/stunted from the heat? I really hope not because they were some really cool strains and it took …

Hey guys, So after germinating my seeds using the paper towel method I then placed them in to peat pellets and put them in the propagator. My initial plan was to keep them in there until they were ready to move outdoors. But I have noticed the root to slightly show itself from the bottom of the the peat pellet. I'm assuming a peat pellet is not a suitable size to keep these little guys in for a week or so? I haven't picked up my final growing medium yet, that was a job for Friday. Would I best utilising the rest of my spare peat pellets and place them in a solo cup along with my seedlings so they have more room and continue in the propagator, then transfer to my…

I have a single plant that I grew in a cupboard for a long time it grew slow because of bad lighting. I decided to just turn it by putting it outside, it’s Now producing buds but still very slow, I think all of this has made it turn hermie as I can see seed pods developing, the buds are still not fully mature yet, should I let it keep growing or pull it now, what would be the best way to still get the most out of it. Thanks
