Hey guys I had abit if a read and is it true that I should aim for 50/50 or better sativa leaning strains for outdoor grows in a high humidity area? (Known as Queensland) Just asking as I just wanted to see what my options would be in regards to growing so I don’t buy the wrong seeds and they end up with Mold or bud rot towards the end of flower thanks for the help

Hello all. I'd like to try my hand at guerilla growing in the bush but the problem for me is not knowing where to plant. What would be the best options out of these areas to try guerilla growing?; -State parks -National parks There are a few national/state parks around the area in Victoria. Just concerned about people finding the plots or the plants being eaten up by roos/whatever. Any info/suggestions are welcome as I don't know if i want to do it because of the problems I forsee. Thanks all

Hello oz stoners, well peoples its that time of year, the time to start putting plans into practice and it seems in not the only one getting busy, the birds, bee's lizards pretty much all the wildlife are getting in on the act including me I've been digging holes anywhere I can fit one, ground prep for me is something I do all year round I'm continually add manures to the ground mostly aged chook poo because I know that my chooks diet is nutrient rich and that's what I want when I'm trying to build the soil up but I've also added some cow manure to,when I'm not doing that I'm adding my own home made compost that is rich with worms,so now that's done there's a few other bits…

Im keen to try couple of plants in summer Melbourne in my backyard. Should I first give them few weeks indoor untill they are strong enough to go outside? When should I start germinating? Early September? I got my self warm farm couple of compost tumblers and bokashi bins. So far I mixed Worm castings compost and bokashi enriched soil together and left it sitting like that for a month now. Should I add perlite or vermiculite or some Coco in there as well? Would mix like that be too hot for young seedlings? Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Since I am stuck in Cali figured I would take advantage of the ability to grow 6plants out doors (legally). I had to cover the plants due to the law and the sun. My 6 plants must be inclosed, locked and covered, hopefully being on a second story balcony and using sail cloths will do the job. These are slightly smashed, turns out I shouldn't let the sail cloth touch the plants - I've fixed that This is just my current temp set up- waiting for more sail cloth to be delivered. 2 largest plants are a Glue and Cheese, the others are wonder woman 2 unknown strains of indica and the Goji (Goji will go inside soon enough) The Glue and Cheese are both 4 foot tall and in 7 gall…

Hey all, Taking on my first grow in spring and I've decided to mix my own soil which I'll also use for our veg garden. My grow will be outdoors in VIC and most probably in plastic 15gal pots so I can move around the yard if needed. My grow will be 4 plants, one of each of the 4 all star Indica's by SSS; Lil Peep, Double Affie, Yorker & GG Allin My mix will consist of the following but I'm open to suggestions on how to enhance it. 30% chicken manure 20% Worm Castings 20% CANNA TERRA PRO 10% Coco coir 10% Perlite 5% Bat Guano 1 cup kelp meal 3 cup crab meal I'm trying to keep it simple for my first grow as I'm sure I'll learn plenty in this first 6 month p…

Hi, I'm seeking advice on my outdoor site preparation for spring 2019 I have access to a property, however for privacy reasons , the best grow location is on the side of a hill that faces north. Its a steep hill that gets full sun, so its very dry The soil there is very very heavy clay. In preparation for spring I have started manually digging 5 individual holes. Soil PH there is around 6.5. Each hole is roughly 1 metre x 1 metre across, but only about 1 foot deep, as digging any deeper ( at this stage) is backbreaking work. Ive applied liquid clay breaker in the holes about a month ago, but it hasnt really helped soften the clay. I have access to unlimited free bags…

G day everyone, I’m back for round two and can’t bloody wait. I had a blast last round, and will be enjoying the fruits of my labor for quite a while. Hopefully I’ve learnt a thing or two and can do even better this round. This year I’ve decided to spread my wings a bit and attempt two strains in my grow. Both feminized seeds. The first being Jack Herer by Vision Seeds The second being Blue Power by Vision Seeds So I’ve done this to have one sativa dominant (Jack Herer) and one indica dominant (Blue Power) plus I’m dying to see the colours and aromas the Blue Power supposedly produces. I’ll begin again by making my own soil mix, this …

Hey all Harvest in 9 days, just noticed a at the top of a branch that there was some greyish/ brown coloured mushy parts in the middle of a big bud and some small sugar leaves were turning grey as well. It was only in one part of the bud, and it was near the top of the branch. I have cut the affected branch half way down and taken it away from my plants. BUT I have hung up the branch with the mouldy/ rotten bit on a line to dry. Am I wasting my time trying to dry this branch? Is the mould just going to spread through the rest of it? There’s no sign of any mould on the plant that had the issue (I have 2) so I plan to just leave it with the other one for the next 9 da…

Im in NSW Questions are- When should I put the jiffys in a new bigger pot?Im not looking to do anything fancy with feeds or that I just water a small each day (is this ok)? I have Sensol spray i will use every 3 weeks on the plantsWhen I put in bigger pots should I use a different better soil? Does it matter that the soil in the jiffys is different?Hot days I bring inside and put by the window as I had 2 othe…

Hey dudes, Not long until now until I harvest my 2 outdoor granddaddy purp, 2 weeks max left I think. Last harvest I cut off all fan leaves before hanging branches on the line. Then after a 2 or so weeks of drying, I manicured the buds more carefully removing (and keeping) sugar leaves. I plan on drying on string lines again just in a spare bedroom that will be kept dark, with a oscillating fan on low aiming underneath the branches and keeping the room at 21°C and aim for 50% humidity. Then after drying is done I will start curing in jars for a few weeks in the same room, in the dark. I am curious if the humidity levels of the room matter while curing as they are in…
