Hi everyone. Obviously I'm new around here. Just been browsing and searching through this forum and I'm now feeling a little confused. Now I'm guessing that growing up here should be relatively straight forward due to the good weather we have, however I'm getting confused. I'm really sorry to be asking such dumb questions especially when many of the posters here appear to be pretty advanced but, well, I just don't get it. So. Because I live in the tropics I start getting confused straight away. Can I begin a grow any time of the year here or am I still bound by 'seasons'? It's raining and overcast like a mofo this year. My three babies have got confused and are already in flower?? I'll just leave them and see how they go but was wondering how everyone else is getting on?

I have a spot and today i went out to dig some holes to fill with my grow soil.My spot is out in the stix and there is alot of clay.I dug about a 1/2mtr hole and its just pure clay and its really wet the hole was 1/2 full of water when i left.Is there anything i can do to the clay before adding my growing soil into it?Im worried about root rot and im not sure what the clay will do to my plants.

So I ordered some super grow bat guano, for the veg stage of plants But it smells funked up!! like this old guys room I know! Its suposed to be organic, I ordered 1 liter of natures own supergrow but got sent this old ass 5 liter bottle of the same brand! It does not have an expiry date on it but the front label is dried up and falling off (it be taped back on) The back label is still in tact though. I read that things high in nitrogen are said to smell like ammonia but I always though ammonia smelt like old cat pee or bleach, I can handle cat pee but this stuff I dont know about! ive never smelt anything like it except old dudes room & I have smelt some nas…

Ok so next season we plan on going deep into the bush/forest and camping there for the season full guerilla styles we got every thing sussed we are just stumped on location were is a good spot in w.a it needs to be deep in the middle of no were so no choppers bother me but i dont wanna find out mid season im on some wheat farmers land and his cuttin the trees down

Help, please!!! I think one of my plots has the PH out of whack!!! I was running the waste water out of the washing machine onto the garden last summer and, over time, realized it was seeping under one of my mullies. Washing powder is vey alkaline & I suspect that was why that plant was stunted ( thankfully I got over 3lb off the other!!! ). I tried to test the PH tonight with a poxy stick/paper test you'd use for a spa bath . Didn't work!!! SO.....how do I test the soil??? Your help will be greatly appreciated

I need some advice on my soil mix for this years grow. The holes are going to be approximately 2 X 2 X 2 feet big which i calculated to being around 226 litres big. I want this grow to be organic so I hope to use the Searles range. im not a new grower but iv had to go with clones instead of seeds this year for my out door grow and im not sure whether i can take my clones from 24 hrs of 2x30w fluro cloning lights to a 12-13 hour summer day with out it flowering. if not can u please give me some info on how i can prep them for my out door grow by maby slowly shortaning the timer on the lights after the clones have fully rooted.the strins i am using are JOCK HORROR and VENUS FLYTRAP any help would be great thanks

Hey Gang, I found a site in a state forrest after doing lots of driving and bushwalking. Put in money and hours of work preparing the plot and then transplanted my seedlings early one morning last weekend. The problem is as I was returning to my car the ranger was waiting for me. I told him I was simply going for an early morning bushwalk. Went and checked the girls last night and he had followed my tracks and stamped on them! I destroyed what was left of the evidence and got outta there. Now I wanna get straight back into it and have popped some more seeds. Got a few little girls growing on a balcony in the concrete jungle . Will thier flowering cycle be affected by the big city lights burning around them 24 /7 knowing that complete darkness is required for total bud developement ??
