Hi All, ACT is the first state to decriminalize outdoor cannabis cultivation for personal use. For ACT residents this presents unique opportunities for research, advocacy and simply growing good weed. I am starting a meet-up to take advantage of the new legal permissions and bring cultivation out of the shadows in ACT. The goal is to discuss growing techniques, as well as to think about how the ACT community can better position itself as pioneers in the cannabis industry, to take advantage of the inevitable legalization of cannabis Australia-wide. Please join the group here. Our first online meet-up is tonight (24 September) at 7pm. Sasha

Howdy folks, First time grow here. I received a couple of packs from MSNL. Didn’t get the first order as I didn’t choose stealth shipping and the seeds never showed up. My bad, I got in touch with MSNL and they re sent seeds no worries I just paid for stealth postage. Germinated 2 x Blue Dream and 2 x White LSD. 100% results using the paper towel method. Medium is 3 parts Hortico Organic Compost, 3 parts Peat, 2 parts wet Perlite and 1 part wet Vermiculite in 15L pots. Have them under 2 x 55w Starlite T5 lights and plan moving outside when it gets a bit warmer. These guys are 9-10 days and they seem to be a bit on the small side. Plan on giving Canna Terra Vega and Flor…

Hi Guys, It's my first attempt at growing and hoping if someone could help me out! I'm wondering if anyone can give me advice on the decision to grow my seedlings in two upside down fish tanks until the plants are bigger (growing outdoor). I've attached two photos of the the pot size and tank size im going to use. I have six of these pots to fit in the two tanks. Do you think this will work alright? How long could I keep them in there?Once I've planted the seeds can I put them in the tank straight away? Cheers

Looking for some advise as to how I might be able to produce chunkier, fuller buds. I seem to get to this stage of flowering (around 38 days for these), and I don't seem to notice much more filling out, or denseness of buds through to harvest - they just seem to stagnate? Don't get me wrong, produce is adequate for my needs, but I'm often seeing here that growers are expecting noticeable fattening of buds in the last few weeks before chopping. I try to keep things pretty simple - holes prepared with crab/prawn shells, fish frames, homemade compost, a few handfuls of sulphate of potash, and then feed through flowering with alternating purple powerfeed and soluble s…

Gday people. After a semi successful go at growing outside last year, I'm back for another go[emoji16] On the left is a Super lemon Haze (710 genetics). She got a bit sunburnt early on and is a bit behind. On the right is a Jack Herer (Sensi seeds). Planted straight into recharged DNG's soil on Melbourne Cup Day. Threw a few handfuls of seed raising mix in the middle for the seeds to germ in. Fingers crossed. Any advice or constructive criticism appreciated. Cheers all Happy growing. So I live in a townhouse complex and have nice courtyard with lots of fruit and veggy plants in pots. Its fenced off but potentially viewable thru the slats of the gate or from the 2nd floor of adjoining townhouses. Gonna try and punch out a single summer grow of a feminised Blue Dream and wanted to see if anyone has any tips. I got a few off the internet that I am going to try. It will be in a pot so it can be hidden inside if really needed. 1) Obvious one is to train it low so it does not get too tall and keep it bushy 2) Get a rounding punch (used for scrapbooking) and round off the big fan leaves. I saw this on the net and it was amazing the difference it made…

hi! I'm pretty excited to be starting our first legal grow this year and am starting to prep supplies/lists of items we need now, to be ready. I would really appreciate any feedback on what I have got so far in my plan, and especially the gaps where I'm not sure on what's best. We want to do this as natural/organic as possible and also as simply as possible. We have a bunch of seeds already and some 30 Gallon smart pots. As far as germination we are considering some options and are curious what others think: 1) Straight to final pot outside, cover with humidity dome until it sprouts. 2) Sprout indoors in a plug, then straight outside into final pot. 3) Paper towel…

I would appreciate any information about growing Blueberry plants outdoors. I purchased my seeds from Joey's Seeds. I only had 4 germinate out of 8. I think it was my fault as my temps were a little coolm at times. Of the four I managed to get three on the way 2 are in gallon containers and one is out in the field. The ones in containers are about 14 inches high and the one in the garden is about 9 inches high. The container plants have been outside for about a month. The insects love them. I have been noticing minor ammounts of leaf damage on a regular basis which is to be expected. I put slug bait around from time to time to keep our slimy friends away. I have been usin…

Hi guys After miraculously surviving the bush fire mother nature has decided to flood my area and my grow....I have around 60mm of water covering my patch.. has been like that for almost a week... the plants are yellowing from leaching and some plants/leaves are starting to droop although they have been praying most of the time fortunately only a small amount of mould on the buds which are about 3 weeks into flower that I've controlled....the sun finally came out today with a forecast for sun all week...I'm hoping the water will be gone in a week... I'm growing in a swampy area so it takes a long time for water to sink into the soil.... anyone had water flooding thei…
