Ok so I got some big-bud seeds from m-seeds.nl. I've used that seed bank before and all was good. But this time, the leaves of the seedlings are all twisted and not growing properly. Some of the tiny little branches are missing leaves as well if that makes sense, like the plant is not symmetrical for some reason. One of the plants has a large chunk out of one leaf and is missing a leaf. The other plant is really twisted and looks like it's dying. I've never grown big-bud before so I'm not sure if it's just the strain or if I'm doing something wrong. I have 2 plants and its happening to both of them. Could it be pH maybe? I've never worried about pH as I've never had any…

So i noticed two small roots comming from the bottom of a drainage hole in my pot. I had read if this happends it usually means your plant has outgrown your pot the only problem is that my pot is almost as big as my plant. could this be a problem? the only thing i can think of is dry pockets in the soil. Indoor/Outdoor: Indoor Growing Medium: Premium potting mix from my local nursery Growing Style: LST Watering/Feeding Frequency: every second water (once every 2 weeks aprox) Nutrient Strength (PPM/EC): N/A PH Levels:N/A Temperature/Humidity Levels: 26 - 30. 45% Air Flow/Fans etc.: 6 inch inline exhaust fan. oscillating fan Lighting Type (CFL/HPS/MH etc.): HPS Total Wa…

I went to see someone who is usually a reliable source of quality bud the other day and he had something different. Told me it was 10 bucks less for an oscar and that he didn't have any of the usual. I took what he had and its nothing on the usual stuff. It sparkles when you light it almost like ya sprinkled flint or gun powder into it. I remember as a teen being told that buds that smoked like that were sprayed with something to ad weight. Haven't thought of it since but now that I do, that seems weird. Is it possible that its cos the bud hasn't been flushed properly?

G'day gang. So I'm wondering about growing. There seems to be so much information out there, almost too much for someone like me. All I want is one plant that I can grow from a pot in my shed. No fancy set up, no lighting, nothing like that. Just a basic pot and plant type situation. With the days turning warmer, is it as easy as planting a seed, watering it and keeping it company every now and then? If people don't mind, can I please have a really brief rundown, a how-to and maybe some tips from others who have done the pot plant version? Cheers, Z

Hey all, I've been doing some reading up on 'colloidal silver' as i wouldn't mind stocking up on some seeds for those rainy days and to save some $$ , seems pretty straight foward to make, 2 pure silver coins, 9v dc power source 2 wires and distilled water.... I'm just wondering if anyone has made there own and had success? does it work like they say? Just abit curious as i think i was reading somewhere on a yank forum someone sprayed one of there autos with colloidal silver and got over 300+seeds from 1 part of the plant

Hi all Just seeking some advice/opinions on temporary potting of clones. I have had a bit of a search but cant seem to find any info to answer my questions my current method is to cut clones just before flower cycle which means they sit around for 8 weeks prior to being put in pots. After a couple of weeks, they have all they roots coming out of the bottom of the rockwool blocks, which means the roots are all exposed for a while. Although I have never had any problems with this I am wondering if there is room for improvement. would there be any benefit in putting the clones into small pots after roots start to show (does this exposure damage roots?), then repotting …

Hey I started this big bang plant in a PC grow box about 8 weeks ago but I had to go away interstate for 6 weeks. My friend was looking after it but it got too big and started touching the lights (he also didn't change the light cycle to flower). I've clipped the burnt/yellow leaves and was wondering peoples suggestions on trying to use a SCROG or LST at this stage. There's so much foliage it looks like it would be hard to tie without damaging it. Was thinking of using the red netting that you buy bags of oranges in as a SCROG.. What you guys think?

I found this to be an excellent read... So pack a pipe...pour a drink & spend a while reading http://blueboy67.wordpress.com/ Purple Cannabis by Nebu The origins of purple cannabis are as much of a mystery as the origins of the plant itself. However, purpling is as natural as the changing colors on the leaves of deciduous trees in autumn, which is attributed in part to the pigment anthocyanin. Anthocyanin expression is controlled by both genetic and environmental factors. Purpling is a simple dominant Mendelian trait, with quantitative expression. Environmental Factors: Several pigments are responsible for color in plants: chlorophyll, carotene, xanthophyll, an…

hello, I've never grown before so plz excuse the ignorance but I was just wondering what's up with feminised seeds? Once you run out of them, do you just order more? Wouldn't you want to seed your own plants so you don't have to keep on take the risk thru the post again and again? What's the right tradeoff between losing quality by having males and/or just always buying new feminised seeds? With the extremely small scale grower in mind.

I thought this might be of interest to coco and or soil growers, unfortunately embedding is disabled so you'll need to watch from youtube - segment begins at 5.55mins and runs for about 2 minutes. ps you don't need the fancy tool they use for taking the samples, an apple corer works fine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SMPNg1DCGE&feature=relmfu
