Hi all, I have recently moved back home with my parents after living independently for 6 years. They know I use cannabis, and they accept (or at least they say they do) that I use it for medical reasons. But that's not really the issue. I am quite new to growing my own medicine as I have only had one small outdoor crop before and a series of failures with indoor grows. I currently have two very healthy looking females in the vegetative phase and they are ready to be put under 12/12 lighting. Hey guys, I'm currently growing in a 1.5x1.5x2m grow tent with really good ventilation and running a 400w hps with cooltube. The problem is my humidity is up at 70-80% does anyone know how I can lower this to a point where I won't get bud rot or mould. ps my night time humidity is like 90% and my day time temp is about 25deg. If the cops roll through my house and find my 2 plants, is it guaranteed that it will get back to the real estate/landlord if im renting my property? I am taking all the proper precautions in setting up my room like carbon air filter and insulation and what not but my girlfriend who I live with is freaking out about getting booted out. On the off chance I do get busted do you think if she says she didnt know she will get the boot too or just me? Its gonna be padlocked away with only my key getting in. Its in a storage room at the back of my garage so its not in the house. Does anybody know the procedures for this kind of thing or have any experience with the consequence…

I'm completely lost here about seed sex. So every seed has different DNA even if they came from the same plant? so if the plant is hermie, female or male will the seeds be the same as the plant they came from or its just pot luck? Is there away to identify seed sex by looking at it or another way? How can seed banks make sure that there femizised seeds are female? How do you breed plants? I'm guessing you have two plants one male and one female. So you introduce the male to the female when its flowering and the pollin will send the female to seed there babies? I read somewhere that if you give your plants 24-72hrs of total darkness just before you chop it, it will throw out the last of the trichomes. Does anyone do this & how long do you give it.Thanks

Hi Guys, Would like to know if any of you know what this is or what i need to do to fix it. Coco grow using Canna A B nutes PH 5.6-5.8 I noticed i had an infestation of spider mites, i sprayed the plants with white oil and repeated after 4 days. 6 Days after spraying with the oil the leaves have started turning black starting from the bottom of the plant slowly working its way up. What should i do? PS. Only respond if you look at the photo and have dealt with a similar issue Its not nute burn as the leaves are black not brown black

Hi Stoners, I have only cloned off plants before I harvest them but now find it is time to keep some mothers.........I have an old 4 ft.sorry 1200mm fluro fixture or ballast I suppose, lying around....... I was looking around some sites at some different grows and saw one with twin tubes, one purple one white it looked like rather a large grow with multiple ballasts. I was wondering if any body could offer some advice on this kind of lighting or names of the tubes. I also would like to ask if you keep the mothers going 24/7 or let them have a sleep? Background: I have never grown cannabis before and have been practising on two auto jack47 that are 59 days old from when the seed was tossed in water. They are growing indoors BUT with natural light. I have been guessing about feeding and took a stab in the dark with some minimal training based on comments from the forums. Questions: What would be a reasonable size to expect it to be by now or alternatively what size should I be aiming for with a potted indoor plant in natural light. How do you know if/when it will flower?

This might be one for the more advanced gardeners out there but I was thinking about companion planting and whether weed grows well amongst South Western Australian natives like in a Jarrah/Marri forrest area. Im guerrilla planting in Margaret River you see and i know this area is like the Nimbin of WA so there's got to be a few locals on this forum that have some advice on this. Any thoughts?

Looking through various cannabis strains I was confused and fascinated by the large variety of genotypes available. So naturally i am wondering how to chose... Are the Cannabis Cup winners a cut above the rest? or should I go by price to determine quality? Are the strains quite true to their description, or only half true? (exotic scents and flavours, and type of high) Your thoughts and experience please.
