I was at my local kmart the other day and I saw a bottle of Thrive concentrated tomato fert, now i was told by a fellow grower that good,But would like some second oppions.ill get the trace elements an that if needed,But the fact its not posions and is for vegitables makes me feel its pretty organic , I like to stick to non chemicals

What conditions do pot plants need to grow? like the humidity, level of light...all the usual??? I know it probably varies with the breed of the plant but i have no idea what kind mine are so some general information would really help, i dont want my babies dieing before they have a chance to be smoked

Hi I'm new to indoor growing and just planted 3 seeds they are 5 days old I have used a 50 50 perlite potting mix and will be growing them in a grow cupboard .I'm using a 400wat hps an 400wat power plant an a 120 wat fan.i have No idea on the strain but will keep you all posted an as soon as they are at a nice size pics will come, Not sure what eles to post thanks for any ideas for a fellow new grower. Well I today received my seeds (Thx my friend) I have planted 9 very berry's (OZCO – seeds) and 5 ducksfeet (Ducksfoot - Wally Duck) I soaked a egg carton in drinking water. I then proceeded to fill up the cups with seed raising mix then planted my seeds. I watered them slightly. They are sitting in a box full of seed raising mix under my desk The box is wrapped in a blanket and a steel top covering it (With air holes). This is next to a heater that I keep going most of the time. 12 seeds total were planted in this manner 4 ducks and 8 Berry’s. I also planted a seed of each strain in separate pots filled with seed raising mix. They were then put into empty fish ta…

alright here we go this has helped many ppl b4 and i think it might help some people here this method is called the PAPER TOWL METHOD ok here we go STEP 1 soak ure seeds in a cup of water for 6 hours STEP 2 get a plastic dish not glass i find that glass gets to cold ok get some apaer towls lie them down on the plate and soak them STEP 3 get the seeds out of the cup and place them on the paper towl 1 inch apart from each other STEP 4 then get 1 more paper towl and lay it on top of the seeds then put in a warm dark place and wait till u see a little tap root wait for it to get about 1 cm long STEP 5 get a pot full of soil and put about a 3cm hole in it just …

Hey all, i have been looking into buying some seeds there is a few i would like to get (AK-47, Northern Lights are at the top of my list)but my qestion is what plants have the least amount of smell when growing, so what have u grown that has the least amount of smell as i have just found out i have a LEO moved in 3 doors up from me, so i need some thing that has very little smell when growing, what do yas think is low smelling plant

Hey all, well i put my babys under my 400w sun-t today (very berry 2) thay are about 2 inchers tall. am growing in 70/30 perl/vernic and nutes i am useing Amsterdam indoors A+B for veg and AI A+B for bud and Evolution Solution Extra Yield as a bud additive, my feeding system is a 30 res into a drip system witch i will setting (hand feeding at the moment) to feed 15 mins every two hours (run to waste) i am going to veg for about a week or two and then sex them, once i know who are my girls i will reveg for two weeks and then turn them to 12/12, i will post some pics as soon as i get my camera back from my lil sister Now 1 question with ph what is the best all round ava…

hi guys, i'll apologise in advance if this is in the wrong section, but i figured wat better place to ask simple questions than in the newbie section? im from melb, and thanks to this site im piecing together my first indoor setup, my question is: is it a good idea to invest in some quality seed/clones for my first indoor grow or should i "practice" on some less definate shit i have lying around? if its a good investment, can anyone suggest some good strains for a chilly hillbilly region - yes i'll be monitoring temps etc but rather have something pretty sturdy so i dont need to make my bedroom into a bloody incubator! quick ps - does anyone have comments on …
