Myself and my best mate have been growing together since the start of this batch, and have come along an interesting plant, its like a bonsai tree ! its only about 6 - 8 inches tall, but is already developing preflowers, and has been outdoors all its life, which is about 10 -12 weeks! Anyone have any idea why, or what strain it may be? I know there are differences between grow times of different strains, but this is plain weired! here is a photo *And i will post again after this with a photo of its sister, my baby who has been growing for the exact same amount of time in the same enclosure, weired.

Greetings, being new to hydro growing, i was wondering if somebody could answer a question. Which is, i have noticed in a lot of photos of hydro grow rooms there appears to be some sort of silver foil tube going in between the plants. What is this?

It said in another thread to keep ur seeds in a cool dry and dark place. I found the place its in my freezer where the ice box is. But is it okay to store them there? Like will they freeze be unusable? Thanks guys.. -Andrew

after the seeds have germinated in paper towel can you put the sprouted seed straight into pertlie/vermicule? I've usually done it straight in rockwool cubes but want to know if I can do it directly into the medium. Cheers Geek

high everyone well, my babies are a bit better. I posted in a different forum before.. OD'd them on nutes when they were too little *DOH* anyways just had a few questions 1. they are about 3 weeks old (grown from seeds) and 3 of them are about 2 inches high, the other 3, 1 inch high and have about 10 leaves on them each.. is this about normal growth? i have the light cycles 22hrs on, 2 hrs off but my mate seems to think they are small for that length of time? 2. I read somewhere that to sex the plants you cut the light cycle to 12hrs on/ 12hrs off when the plant is one-third the size you want it to be eventually and to rip out the males ASAP... but i got my seeds …

Hey all, I'm sick to death of having to pay for MJ, so me and my stoner mate have decided to grow our own. But there is a slight problem, we have no idea where to start. We would be growing inside, and we would probably use some sort of box. I spose I can keep updating the thread when we need more help, but for the moment I need the following questions asked: 1. This is probably a stupid question but here goes anyway. If I dont ask, me like a lot of others probably wont know the answer. I am growing hydroponically indoors using expanded clay and a recirculating system. I change the water every 2 weeks and have been told to flush the pots with pH adjusted water until the output CF reading is the same as the input reading. When you have to flush 15 pots several times with ph adj water, that is one hell of a lot of water, not to mention the time, chemicals etc. involved in getting the water right to begin with. hello again., i thought i might jump on the band wagon and put in my own grow thread. should be good for a laugh anyway. the thread will be about 8 c99 clones. o.k i took the clones off the mother about 4 weeks ago and were grown in styrofome cups in yates seed raising mix. the larger pieces of bark were screened and removed. the cuttings were approx 3 inches long and were placed in water for 10 mins,scarred(thanks w.c) dipped in hormone powder and were planted about an inch or so into the medium. the lights i used were 3 18 watt cool white c.f's. within 2 weeks clones had strong root system and were ready for light period to be reduced to 15 hrs. they were gently…

Hey all through it was about time i put some info up on my current grow, i am growing verry berry #2 from seed it is about 6 weeks old and looking very nice i have tiped a few times, i have 2 Grate White Shark and 1 G13 (had 2 G13 but 1 did not make it :angry: ),clones that are kicking on very nicely now , thay are in a 30/70 mix of per/vernic on a run to wast system, i useing Amsterdam Indoors (bud&veg) and will useing Evolution Solution Extra Yield as a bud addive and my timer is set to water every 5 hours for 15 mins (i had it to run every 4 hours but seemed to just be wasting nutes, prob will have to turn back to every 4 hours as thay get bigger and need more) …

OK, I've read that if u cut off the very tip of the plant it branches into 2 more or somethin like that . Now correct me if I'm wrong cuz I've read alot of pruning and tipping but I still have no clue how the fuck to do it right. Well I cut off the top of my plant it's about a foot tall and I guess it's supposed to heal or somethin and keep growing. It's been like 2 weeks and nothin happened...It's still blank and the part that I cut is just brown on the inside and my plant hasn't grown an inch. ALL info/pics would be greatly appreciated on how the hell to tip/prune and all that shit. I'm clueless

Here is a link for some books you can download for free. Some guy scanned them and put them up so other people could access them. I downloaded a couple, but he didn't zip them or put them all in one download so you have to download a chapter at a time, but it still beats buying them!! Some excellent books here too!.... hello all just a bit off advice needed Just got given this durbon poison off a mate it's about 3 mounths old and in dirt. it's been under floros all it's life but now I got it under one off my 400w hps would I be able to transfer it out iff the dirt into a another pot and into my flood and drain and would I start it on full tit nutreints and super thrive or a weeker mix ( I will be useing clay balls as well) . any advice would be good punk
