what a really good website for growers,the best i think,hope you pros can help?and hello and good luck to everyone,what are the best ways to use water cyrstals in pots?if plants are in hot dry temps,how long could they go with out water?still want good healthy=4 days youse think?if give good water before the next,do water cyrstals affect weed as ive heard it make weed taste like plastic,love organics,maybe covering the top of the pots with panda plastic/bark to keep moisture in,what do youse think?p.s big pots

High everyone My first grow at 4 weeks: Details Cupboard grow (approx. 1mtr square) Plants grown from seed (unsure of strain) 400W HPS (80cm above plants, 22hrs ON/ 2 OFF) 6 x 2 gallon pots Potting soil (PH 6-6.5) Small Osolating fan Large extraction fan Watering (approx. 1 cup a pot/day) Was feeding them nutes (Head On Grow) after 2 weeks but seemed to burn them, have not still fully recovered, have new green healthy looking shoots coming through but old almost white leaves on the bottom from nute burn.. should i cut these leaves off??... & im reading up on clipping the shoots and im hoping to grow SCROG when they get about a foot high (they are about 2.5…

hi guys! I've been growing this plant for about 4 months now. It hasn't always received as much water as it shouldv'e and it got a bit shocked when I transplanted it, also this is my first attempt so I know it's nothing special. I've had it on 12/12 (putting it in a light proof shed, actually sometimes more than 12 dark hours) for about a week now, and still no sign of flowering. Also, I've been feeding it bloom booster every day, about 1/2 strength, and it receives full sunlight for its light period. My big question is, can anyone tell me if its male or female?? I've read a lot of posts and other websites on the topic, but I cant for the life of me figure it out for myse…

What excacly does the term "High Calix to leaf ratio" mean...does it mean lots of flower heads to leaf?...Or finished prduct or what?

I'm growing a few MJ plants in my yard . Strain unknown . They are just beyond the seedling stage (20-30cm) . The top's of them look pretty healthy but the lower 2-3 sets of leaves are yellow and are obviously dying ? Can anyone tell me whats wrong ? Pleeaase ! Is there a cure ?

Hi guys, Similar to the previous topic, I have yellowing and/or burning on some of the lower leaves on my hermie (since it's my first grow I'm treating it as if its the real deal, just for experience). It's outdoors in a big enough pot, full sun all day. I water it every day and feed it full strength manutec bloom-booster every 2nd or 3rd day. I was wondering if this is too often or not enough (the plant is about 3ft tall). I'm not sure if the symptoms I'm seeing (see pics) are caused by nute deficiency or overload (burn). How can you tell the diff between deficiency and burn? I know that yellowing of the leaves is a N deficiency (isn't it?), but don't really have much id…

Myself and my best mate have been growing together since the start of this batch, and have come along an interesting plant, its like a bonsai tree ! its only about 6 - 8 inches tall, but is already developing preflowers, and has been outdoors all its life, which is about 10 -12 weeks! Anyone have any idea why, or what strain it may be? I know there are differences between grow times of different strains, but this is plain weired! here is a photo *And i will post again after this with a photo of its sister, my baby who has been growing for the exact same amount of time in the same enclosure, weired.

Greetings, being new to hydro growing, i was wondering if somebody could answer a question. Which is, i have noticed in a lot of photos of hydro grow rooms there appears to be some sort of silver foil tube going in between the plants. What is this?

It said in another thread to keep ur seeds in a cool dry and dark place. I found the place its in my freezer where the ice box is. But is it okay to store them there? Like will they freeze be unusable? Thanks guys.. -Andrew

after the seeds have germinated in paper towel can you put the sprouted seed straight into pertlie/vermicule? I've usually done it straight in rockwool cubes but want to know if I can do it directly into the medium. Cheers Geek

high everyone well, my babies are a bit better. I posted in a different forum before.. OD'd them on nutes when they were too little *DOH* anyways just had a few questions 1. they are about 3 weeks old (grown from seeds) and 3 of them are about 2 inches high, the other 3, 1 inch high and have about 10 leaves on them each.. is this about normal growth? i have the light cycles 22hrs on, 2 hrs off but my mate seems to think they are small for that length of time? 2. I read somewhere that to sex the plants you cut the light cycle to 12hrs on/ 12hrs off when the plant is one-third the size you want it to be eventually and to rip out the males ASAP... but i got my seeds …
