I have a couple Bodhi Dream Beaver seedlings on the go, one of which has astounded me with her vigour. This seedling has reached maturity (as in alternating nodes) by the 3rd node! I am by no means an experienced grower but I have grown quite a few cannabis plants from seed now and I have never, never seen a plant reach maturity this quickly. This seed broke the surface of the jiffy pellet in 24 hours, normal time frames for me during summer tend to 48 to 36 hours. It was one of around 8 seeds planted at the same time. Curious as to whether this would be considered pretty unusual or par for the course. EDIT/ it may be of interest to note that the reason I am…

Guys, if a seed description says:"Indoor flowering period: 75 days". Does it mean that I can start harvesting approx 75 days after planting or does it mean that only the flowering period itself lasts 75 days but it doesn't say how long it will take for the plant to start flowering?

I thought it could be fun to do a little online shopping with anybody who would like to offer any advice to a new comer. Maybe the more veteran participants could shed some light as far as cost-saving measures and keeping the overall set up cost to a bare minimum. Scenario. A first time grower intending on cultivating 2 plants in a small space such as a cubbord or hidebox etc on a very limited budget. The grower has seed in hand and a very light fist full of $50 notes. To plant today, what items are required on the spot, and what items can be floated to later date of purchase to keep the initial buy in low? What items should be scavenged or fabricated DIY and what ite…

I use a 10cm square Gal weldmesh screen for the scrog and its been working well. However, the last couple of grows I have tried allowing the plant to grow upwards during the veg/flower changeover so that their are more bud sites below the main bud on each stem. This works well, however it creates a top heavy branch above the scrog screen and the last couple of weeks of flower some usually fall over blocking some light and air to other buds underneath it, not ideal. So...what can I use for the second screen? I'm thinking some light plastic mesh and the 10cm squares would again be good...thoughts?

I only have a few main plants and I took this out of the flowering cupboard as it looks like a male to me but it also seems to have some clusters of small buds but but I'm not sure? Anyway if it is a hermie, do I keep it still? If it's a male, I might have it as my house plants and pet in my room and let it just use natural light of the room. My flowering plants are in another room and cupboard. I could also use the male to mate with a female for some seeds later too.

Hey guys, i ordered some seeds from bonza seeds and got the following: It is the Greenhouse seeds Money Maker Feminzed. Originally seed went into little peet pot, then put straight into a clay pot for about a month, he then was topping the plant every now and then whilst it was in the pot and just today was transferred into the soil (same spot as last years grow that we only got 13 ounces from becaues it was a very tall plant and it blocked out the light at the bottom). I have attached pictures of what it looks like at the moment. So basically we were a little bit late off the bat growing this year, the seeds arrived late. You can clearly see where we are at now. I…

I'm planning my first grow after researching the subject fairly intensely and here's what I've come up with so far. The goal is to grow enough for personal consumption which would equate to ~1oz/month with some spare for friends etc. I'm thinking 2-3 plants in a 2x2 tent, which I'll train with some topping, LST and a scrog. Setup: Secret Jardin Darkroom II Pro DR60 24"x24"x64": http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004NGBX1C?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_2&smid=A1T46V3DHID5FV 4 x 100w (240w true power) cob LEDs as per LEDwizard guide here:https://www.reddit.com/r/Head2HeadMG/comments/2lvnul/guide_ledwizards_1000_true_watt_led_light_part_1/ I also …

A quick question I have related to growing from seed after discussing with a mate the other night. How much does the size of the pot the plant is growing in affect the plant. Will an undersized pot kill the plant? Can you shorten the height of a plant with a smaller pot? As an example. Seeds currently being germinated and grown in 500ml party cups. If they weren't transplanted to 6lt+ containers and kept in the 500ml cups, what would happen? Would you need to keep them at a maintained height yourself? What would happen on multiple levels? So say at growing an entire plant in 500ml, 1ltr, 2ltr, 5ltr containers. Thanks in advance.

Hi all, I have a rather large abundance of toads around at the moment... Have heard a few tales of growers burying fish, sheep, whatever below their outdoor grows. I am planning a new outdoor grow, should I bury them at the bottom of the hole ? I currently have a freezer full and will be digging holes this weekend for almost immediate planting out
