First of all I want say sorry If this has already been discussed somewhere on this Forum. One of my friend is considering growing with LED lights instead of HID or flouro's. Regrettably, I am not savvy with LED lights, so I could most definitively use some experienced info. He is planning to get an full spectrum LED light for 60 sq. ft. room with the recommended 3k lumens per sq. ft. coverage plan. I did some look around for him but still what could be more valuable than shared Experiences and so here I am. Lend me your expertise to make the right decision !

Hello all, I'm a complete newbie bot to this site and the world of cultivation. I've been avidly reading lots of posts on this stite and have found some great info, mind you sometimes i end up more confused than when I started. laugh Ive only ever grown one plant .... I had three seeds (I have no idea what they were, a friend gave them to me), anyway two germinated then one died, and the final one i just transplanted into the back yard and lo and behold it grew. It didn't take very long and it was only about a metre tall so i image it was a "Auto" I must say here that i don't even use cannabis, well very very infrequently and half the time it makes me ill b…

Hey guys new on here, look forward to sharing my story and meeting rad new people ✌️. I've done a few grows but this will be my second indoor grow. Going to start a pineapple express auto (Barneys Farm) grow soon. I've got a .8 x.8 (.64m2) grow tent with a 400w MH/HPS. Using a drip feed system with canna nutes and canna coco/perlite (30%). Now my question is how many autos would be best to fit inside my tent. I was thinking 4 x 11 ltr air pots and using LST to manipulate the branches to fill the square space? Do u guys think this might be too many plants and maybe I'll stick to 3 or even two. Being in SE qld I have a problem with heat as you can see it's 31 degrees …

Hi, i use tank water and due to me looking sus sneaking water in with containers at night I thought I should use a hose to be more stealthy. The hose gave the water a noticeable rubber smell so i gave it a miss. It isn't ancient and is a decent brand. Is it, first a problem, and if so is there a hose better suited? hi everyone, im running a single CFL 130w atm for vegging, what kind of light should i use for vegging after the first few weeks? the vegging room is pretty small 1.5 x 1.5 by 2.2m high. what light would be best suited for this size room for vegging? i like the 315w LEC`s i already have 2 of them using in flowering with great results. im thinking i might go with a 315w LEC/CMH however the cost of them is fairly high, whats a cheaper option? im thinking maby a 250w MH kit? think they exist yeah? i will be vegging the plants in the flower room for a few weeks also all under there own LEC/CMH`s. 315watts and then when i turn them i will still be using the LEC/CMH 315…

Harvested my first grow about a week ago. 2 autoflowers at about 10 wks old. Put the buds into jars this morning to start curing. Filled up 3 x 1 litre jars about 5/6 full each with a hygrometer. The humidity is sneaking up to around 68% humidity. I've been checking on them every couple of hrs or so and taking the lids off for 15-20 mins or so. My plan was to keep burping till humidity is low 60s then put the 62% bovedas in to maintain this humidity. Does this sound like a decent plan? Worried about mold. Cheers

At some stage I will be confronted with having to trim my first crop and already its not something I am looking forward to in part due to it being tedious and time consuming but primarily because my hands are not real good and its going to be a difficult task that will probably take literally forever. I was contemplating trying to get one of those electric trimmers I saw on ebay, has any one used one and do they do a good job or not?

As newbie I rely on lots of info from the forums and know that photo period will be triggered to flower by the shorting of amount of light they get (indoors or out) but Autos just grow for a while and flower even when days are getting longer but what about when days are getting shorter?. I have a friend that grew a plant in their glassed verandah they recently harvested, its still 26c or so in there when the outside temp is probably only 15c so they wanted to put another plant in but I suspect it wont come to anything as the days here are now shortening as we go into autumn and eventually winter. I was wondering if an Auto would grow and flower normally or are they a …

hey guys iv just setup my small cloning/veg room and im yet to setup the fans and im wondering what size i should go for? in my 3x3m tent i have 2 Blauberg Centrifugal Fans 150mm with speed control etc. what size fans for air in and out for my 2x2m veg room do i require? im thinking around 100mm not even? and also im thinking about going with the Centrifugal Fans as they are nice! dont make a noise etc. also on the exhaust fan i plan to hookup a carbon filter.

hi everyone, im currently growing 4 plants, 2 have there own LEC 315W each and the other 2 share a single 600 watt hps in the same room, im trying to compare what light produces the biggest buds etc. its a little hard for me as iv had a root rot issue that slowed growth down on the 2 with a LEC under each of them, comparing all 4 it seems the 2 that are closest to the HPS do have slightly bigger buds, now im not sure if the root rot played a role in this or if the actually HPS 600 watt is doing a better job then the 315w LEC`s? tbh my opinion is if all 4 had no issues i think the buds all round would be of similar size, whats everyones opinion and experience with LEC`…

has anyone use molasses in the hydro system for bud size taste . been reading some topics on Internet has anyone got any opinions on this subject they say adding one tea spoon per gallon in the last few weeks of flowering when you start flushing with fresh water they add molasses it say molasses is like bud candy or hydro honey . diluted in warm water any help much appreciate thanks boarderline
