Just a quick question on Neem guys and girls. Seems Neem cake is out of stock everywhere. Have found Neem pellets however. Ok to mix into a soil as it is or better to add some water and break them down a bit first? http://www.nobugs.com.au/neem-cake-pellets-2-kgs/ Thanks

After a week of not having any luck with the paper towel germination method, I took some advice online in the forum and moved the seeds to seed raising mix and organic peat pots. Gets nice morning sun and nothing heavy middle of the day or the afternoon. Been spraying the surface with water only when it has gone dry. Any other advice you can give me? Hi guys, I have been using the paper towel method to germinate my seeds for the last 5 days. Coming up to day 6 today and not seeing much progress. There are little holes in the side of the seed which I assume is the beginning of the root coming through. I have been using the paper towel method and assuring the towel is kept moist every 12 hours. It is kept in my drawer to keep it dark. Weather in brisbane for last week has been getting colder but we still have highs of 23 every day. Any advice would be appreciated even if it's to tell me to stay patient [emoji16] Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Opinions please. Found this. It's solar. Would a few of these work ok in a small tent/3 or 4 plants e.g. maybe a wardrobe. Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk

Howdy guys, Super stoned so bare with me I'm in the market for a new prop tent as I'm sick of sharing the smaller one I use for the mums. They get squashed and it would just be easier. So few questions. These dual shelved units?? I don't get it, they're all sold with one light unit so how does the light penetrate the second shelf? Confucius say something smell funny. So I like the idea, but with two light units. ( i think one would do me ok) Anyhoo here are some examples. I gotta say I. Leaning towards the white model. Easier to clean, reflection yada yada yada... So pros cons give it all. If you have had bad experiences with a certain model let me know…

So I'm unable to vent my cupboard grow anywhere and the wife is complaining about the smell. Would I be able to just have a carbon filter and a fan just recirculating the air in the cupboard? (Pulling through the carbon filter and back into the cupboard) Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

So I only grow 2 at a time. I want those 2 to be healthy and produce. Just sprouted 2 beans, exactly 1 week old from when planted. One is doing fine but the other has deformed first true leaves. I'm in coco (the medium the God's use in heaven when growing) and feeding pHed tap water only so far. Will start weak nutes tomorrow. So my question, bin it and start again with a new bean? Or, keep it as it will sort itself out soon with the second set of leaves? I don't want a stunted or dwarf plant for my grow and I'm not sure if the current deformed set of leaves is the start of that. MLG Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Can anyone confirm that male flowers smell like female flowers from the same strain? Long story short, I cut some clones that I plan to convert into males with silver thiocyanate from four favourite mother strains. Unfortunately I have reason to suspect that I mixed up the clone labels - one of the perils of gardening after sampling some of the last harvest I want to make specific crosses so I need to be quite sure which female each of the males came from - I may need to leave an untreated branch on each of the males so I can get the smell of the female flowers. Suggestions welcomed...

Just wondering how many on here have used this formula. In this formula two parts of the three part system from General Hydroponics is used. It states to use 8ml of Flora Micro and 16ml of Flora Bloom per gallon of water. Also another method is to use Maxibloom dry nutrient on its own at a rate of 7g per gallon. It does say you may have to fine tune it a little but it's pretty spot on. It suggests no other nutrients as in a bud or bloom booster are necessary. Economically it makes sense as doing it this way would certainly reduce the costs involved in nutrition dramatically. So who has tried this method to a T and what were your results?
