how much does having the correct amount of N-P-K affect how much i'll yield? i mean i haven't tested my soil for NPK but the plant seems to be looking pretty damn healthy and is finally showing signs of flowering. Just wondering how worried i should be about testing my soil if my plant looks like it is doing fine. I have had problems with my soil in the past but switched over to some fresh compost which should have all the needed NPK in it already.

Anyone use this nutrient I always used to then I changed to Canna then plantastic Now Nefarious . In hind sight Growrite was the best of the lot.

hi i was told by my local grow shop that in the 1st week of flowering if you spray your plants with nitrozine with wet agent it will grow really fast and get greener leaves. i was told to spray it only once tho when the light is off. has anyone tried any of this?? also i want to try top max flowering food. anyone tried this at all? my termpertaure is always 85 f and they are very good crop this time around even with the heat being high. i have been in the pre flowering stage for 2 days now and was wondering how often i should water them and feed them etc. also do i give them full days of dryness where i don't water at all? any advice would be great thanks

High all, In 2 of my 5 grows i have had the leaves turn yellow and dye back into the bud, causing the bud to dry out and dye. If you look at entry No.6 from stoney72 in the cannaporn compettition this is exactly what it starts out like. What do you's think? I'm growing 2 plants in a recirculating system under a 400 W Light in a cupboard with a fan... I flush fortnightly and check Ph levels daily. I'm using the complete Cana range (veg\flores, canazime at all times, rhizotonic in veg, and PK13 3 weeks B4 harvest.

Hi, I can do either. No expense spared. Reflective mylar is essentially a perfect mirror. Are there pros and cons for either? Ultreflect seems to be more expensive Not endorsing this shop..it just has all 3 options up there for consideration. http://www.discount-hydro.com/mylar.asp Ultreflect is the most expensive. Ive still got some mylar. But ready to go hitech opinions please.

Any scientist types or botonists ot there? Just how small is the molecule that give plants their characterist odor? Anybody hear of trying micron socks or pushing the air thru a fluid filter? Blowers for spas could push a lot of air thru a solution that would react with this molecule. Maybe a concentrated Bicarbonate solution or RO/DI water. Just wondering.

hey fellas, i planted a a seed about 3 months ago. around just late of summer and its not very high at all lots of leaves but very short with these white hairs coming out of the top. not many tho its outdoor and its hella cold outside so i cut a 2L coke bottle in half an popped it over the plant at night water every 2-3 days. Anyways the real question is i wanna start growing hydro. Dont smoke alot just would like a cheap hps kit. It needs to be from seed all the way to harvest. maybe just 1 or 2 plants. And i dont have mad money for a huge kit ethier. What do you reckon? i heard a 200watt HPS system would be okay? wont be using hydro nutes or anything like that ju…

Hey all and thank you again for all your help previously. I once set up my garden shed for growing before but in this time I was much younger and got some free roof/insulation bats so I set my shed up with these on all walls and covered them with that white reflective plastic. Why I say I was much younger then is that I was full of energy and now I am looking for a much easier way without spending a fortune. Does anyone know the best way to insulate their sheds? I want to grow again and I can still get these bats for free but I tried going to Clark Rubber to get some foam but it was really expensive for the amount I needed, I was looking at close to $300 or more just…

Hey guys, Well, I have an EC meter but I'm not quite sure how to use it. Calibrated it like the guy said and wouldn't you know, it seems to me that my plants don't take in any nutes. I threw in about 1/4 strength for the guys in flower and 1/8 for the mothers and veggers, however to this day the EC reading has only increased, and it's been about two months. I have to add more RO water every day just to keep the meter from jumping .10ms and I shoot for a reading of 1.0ms for the flowering guys and .5ms for the veg. Before this (I guess I was over nuting) I was changing the water every two weeks and using nutes at twice the strength since I couldn't see that the plant…
