Ok Im new hereso Hello everyone and hope you had a great Easter. Now I know this has probably been done to death but I want to garner as much info from the knowledgeable as possible so I thought I would start a new thread. Here goes.When preparing the hole how big do I have to make it?I know this sounds like a silly question but I have read on other sites people saying to make it 1 cubic metre and that sounds like a little excessive. Anyhow I have bought a good potting mix and some dynamic lifter,will get some perlite and water crystals. ok, so i want to grow indoors this year for the first time. only problem is i have parents who will kick my ass if they find out. so what would be a good idea to put it in? also i have a lamp but it probably wont work. what kind of lighting would work best for, like, 1 or 2 plants? i have a couple of good seeds and i can easily germinate them. got any tips or anything that would be useful to me? as i said this is FIRST time growing. i also started about 3 plants outdoors about 1 week ago, the problem is i cant tell if they are weed sprouts or just a weed in general. what are some signs of knowing what it is. its about 3 cm tall and has a purple stem with little white fu…

hi all. maybe someone could help with an answer. i'm in my 4th weed of flowering some white widows in a 5 gal dwc system. one of my plants is developing curling under leaves to the point of clawing. everything i've read sez this is due to nute overload. my temp in bucket 69, air 75. ph 5.8-6.4, ec 1- down from 1.5 with no improvement in the last 4-5 days. my other 4 plants are cruising right along. i even tried a little mag++ without change. any other suggestions??

i just cut couple leaves off plant and put under 150x scope..........I SEE like spider type things underside having a good feed and eating the fuking plants......whats a good insect killer im in veg shud i use mortein or special for plants?

Hi all, Luckily I'm still here to write this as I was electrocuted last night in my flower room. Now I have always listened to the warnings that everyone so sensibly gives about raising ballasts etc off the floor, and checking connections but my 240v of love came from my res tank's heater exploding under water and delivering the current through 100l of nutes. All my tools are plastic so when I was checking the PPM & PH nothing happened - even my stirring paddle for mixing is plastic. Hey all. Just wondering what Ec everybody is running for their Coco? Atm For veg (indoors) I'm running Around 1.4-1.6 (canna vega/ fulvic). For flower (outdoors) Im Alternating between 1.2 and 1.6. (DM Advance/fuvic and Megabud) This seems to be working ok with no obvious deficiencies. SO what are you running?

Hi everyone i really need some help and preferably fast. today i aquired a plant from someone who has no clue how to grow and had pretty much given up on it because it could possibly die had he not given it to me. its a sativa well at least im pretty sure it is because i have grown indica's before and they were bushy this thing is like a stick with a grouping of leaves near the top. the person who planted it used local soil from the area that also has sand in it. the person told me that he started it from seed more than 2 months ago and its growth has not been that great so far. this is because its only been getting maybe 14 hours of light because spring is just starting …

Hey Folks I got four seeds that have cracked open Two have formed the first two leaves and the other two still have the seed casing on just the tap root sticking out Now the Plan is i've had four rockwall cubes soaking in diluted seed and clone nutrient.......now i want to take the seeds from the paper and plate put them in the cubes then into my humidy dome in a cabinet that has a heatpad and twin 2ft 18watt fluros......the temp in the humidy dome sits at 35degrees So what i want to know is a scheldule .......what would be the next step ........ cheers roy

I'm a bit confused. While that's nothing new, I'm confused about a growing question as well I've read somewhere in here, that people put their seedlings straight into 12/12/ conditions. While that sounds reasonable to me, I read somewhere else, that putting a plant to 12/12 before pre-flowering can cause hermies. It was explained that the plant thinks it is "missing out" on some pollen and causes it to become a hermie so it can self polinate if necessary. To me that sounds perfectly reasonable as well. So what's the story? 12/12 before pre-flower or not? Or does a seedling not care if it doesn't know any other state than 12/12? AK

Hi guys, I’m after some organic veging fertilizer. Maybe something like fish emulsion or something. My soil consists of organic compost mainly, With small amounts of -vermiculite -perlite -propagation sand -peat moss It also has a healthy amount of blood and bone mixed into it. I also have seasol for a folia spray and all purpose sort of feed, what is the view on seasol? I have a bottle of monstah bud for flouring. So any recommendations or info?
