O.k I know the main thing a cannabis plant need is Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium, but about how much zinc, iron, and those other chemical elements should be in my fertilizer mix, depending on vegetative and fruit stage? Also I would like to know what your ph levels should look like? How much vermiculite, and perlite, should be in the soil mix, also should peat moss be mixed in? I cant remember if it made a difference. Also would a 2.5 gallon bucket be good enough for this project? I wanna get my hands on some BlueCheese, but by me living in Illinois, USA I don't know if it would actually come, or what would be a good site to buy them from, without anyone showing up …

the idea behind a vertical grow is to maximize light foot print. traditional grows only leave you with nice top colas. wouldn't if be nice if that nice top cola was the whole plant! This is my V-Tub. Very simple to make very simple to grow high yields. this can be used in bigger applications as well feel free to shoot any questions. Materials 10cm hole saw 10cm Hose adapter 10cm Inline Fan/blower (2) 75L tubs (4) cool tube: recommend 250-400 Start with lining the insides of both tubs with reflective tape/mylar or paint. http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff96/5ampson/IMG_3570.jpg use your hole saw to cut a hole in the dead center of the top tub http://i238.photobucke…

Completely new to growing, about to attempt it for the first time out doors... From the things I've read, when growing indoors, you change the lighting to 12/12 when they're about 30cms tall to make them flower, right? How do you make them flower when growing outdoors? I know that naturally it will happen, but how do you make it happen before the plants get too big? I don't want to have a giant pot plant in my backyard, and I don't really want to go to the trouble of growing indoors. So, how would I go about this outdoors?

I am wondering if anyone can tell me if freezing seeds will preserve them? I am waitingt nto get some seeds from UK and they have not received my money yet. A friend has some hydro seeds she will give to me (don't know what strain) so I am thinking of planting them in between time as the boat is slow from China getting them here. When they arrive will I be able to preserve them until time to plant? Many thanks to those who can put me on the right track.

So, there are some folks that have grown here (ya think, cheeba?), I have seen some pretty impressive results. As it happens, some space has become available at a mates place and we're considering a joint venture...I know that probably rings alarm bells for most but I've known the guy for years, his place is secure, he's not a pothead, and he has no "contacts", that stuffs all pretty much on my end. Long story short, I've trusted him with more. Between us, we now have a 600w?HPS? Son T Agro, a large lockable wardrobe (about a metre front to back, 1.5 side to side, and rather tall) which we can modify to our needs, and 10 "designer" seeds from someplace in Amsterdam. W…

Howdy all I have a question about Plant growth regulators. I rarely use them but want to try it on my shiva skunk. When I have used it Ive found no real increase in yield is this normal? and I usually apply it at the end of week two. So given that i have no height restrictions when is the best time to apply it? Day 1 of flower or later? Also I have Psycho Flower, 2 part (new and improved) and Hulk. Are either of these products superior to the other? Thanks! Please this is not a debate about the use of pgr's.

Howdy all. I was just filling up my sprayer this morning to apply some seasol and it occurred to me the ph would probably have an effect on absorbtion rates. I once heard a story of a council worker applying weed kiler and he reckoned lowering the ph to 4.5 or there abouts he only had to use a third as much to get the desired outcome. I'm figuring that plants naturally take up rain water best through the leaves and it has a ph of 5.2. Just thought Id raise the topic and if anyone has something to add please do. RR

Ive got a sheight load of silica here and haven't been using it because it stuffs up my ph over a 48 hour period and I'm hand watering my plants daily in 10 liter watering cans(I like to keep things unsophisticated). Ive been thinking about using it along with seasol and straight water as part of a fortnight/monthly flushing regime just to get it into the medium. What do people think? Will I see a marked difference using silica?

Hi peeps, i need help desperatly with my plants i am using a BCNorthern lights Bloombox and i have just put my plants into the flowering chamber, on a mild nutrient mix on 12/12 cycle. The thing is think i fooked it all up today. I have listened to a so called mate of mine and trimmed back the plants today. i immediatley felt i had done something wrong. I have taken off several large fan leafs off the plants carefully with a scapel at a 45 degree angle, but they look a bit bare now. They stand at about 6 inches high and were very very healthy. i am worried they might die now as i dont know if i should have trimmed it back. can anybody help me please?
