G'day again guys/girls. I have been flowering for 6 and a bit weeks and have some questions. I know that some strains take forever to fully bloom, but I have made my own strains over the past few years and have grown my sativa strain outdoors with pretty good success, this year I brought it indoors to go next to my indica's and am a bit surprised with how much longer it has taken to get to ready. Outside it took about 8.5 weeks and was really chunky, indoors it looks like about 10 weeks. I was just wondering how long you guys have stuck with a strain to fully bloom. I know that it will be worth it as they are starting to put on some weight now and should be great a…

I just have a question. How long could it take for the cops to raid a grower if they were tipped of by a squealer who bargained for a lighter sentence. Could they leave it for a year or so in order to make it look unrelated to the dog or would they nip it in the bud before things change? Thanks A friend of mine is a little paranoid.

Hi fellow smokers i have been lurking on this site for about 3 weeks trying to soak up as much information as i can and now i would like to ask some opinions on my first grow, would love some feedback or any information possible so i can cut out as many mistakes as possible.Ok so im trying to get some plants going and i am experimenting with 2 different grow mediums, i currently have 4, 1 month old plants sprouted from bag seeds from some awesome chronic that i smoked, they are set up in an average sized cupboard under 2x 42watt 6500k cfls 2x 18watt 4200k cfls and 2 x 10 watt 2700k cfls. The grow medium for 3 of the plants is a cheap 5 dollar bag of potting mix from kmart…

My name is FORCONI Marc-Antoine, I am 21 years old and I’m a second-year student in a French university of agriculture and management, LaSalle Polytechnique in Beauvais. At the end of our second year, we have to do a 5 month training period abroad. The aim of this period is to gain valuable work experience and new techniques and to learn about life in another country while improving our English. Indoor culture is really a passion for me, I am lucky enough to be able to combine this interest with what I learn at school, and I would like to develop it even further by doing this training period of 5 months in a growshop in Victoria area (the period from July 15th to December…

I am growing in some 1 gallon buckets and am going to be transporting them to a location outside soon. I was just wondering if the plants would be alright though. My plan was to bury the pots a little bit into the ground and then that way they won't get too big. Basically, my spot isn't that top-secret so I don't want to be growing trees. My concern is the plants getting root-bound or something. Anyone try growing in 1 gallons before?

Residents of NSW will face increases in their electricity bills by 20%(21% in some cases). With this in mind I have a few questions.... 1) Digital Ballasts- If you believe the literature produced by the makers of these products they claim of up to 20% decrease in power usage. For those who use these products are these claims true? 2)LCD grow lights- Producers of these products claim anywhere btw 20-75% reduction in power consumption. I am yet to come across anyone on this forum who has had any success with this type of lighting. If there is how about some feedback. 3) Will the cost of cannabis increase in line with the power bills?

Hi all, I just wanted to ask if anyone has had much experience with Diatomite as I just picked myself some up a few days ago. I was wondering if this would be good to mix with my current medium of choice perlite. I just thought I would try something new, as I am hoping soon to graduate to a recirculation drip system for the first time. At the moment I am just wondering what you guys thoughts are on this as a medium. As I am getting far too sick of having to trash perlite, I would rather have a reusable medium or at the least be able to put it on the garden with out arising any suspicion at all. Also does anyone know if there is a certain level of silica in this stuff …

Hey guys I am new around here, have been browsing these forums for a couple of days and thought it might be nice to start my own topic! I am interested in adding some CO2 to my plants environment and I am curious to know what others have used to do this. I have been surfing the various shops on the net and have come up with two choices, I want to use a tank and injection system and these are the ones I have found in australia Either http://www.hydromasta.com.au/view_product....=16001&id=5 Or http://www.adelaidehydro.com/showproduct.php?id=234 Not sure which one though, has anyone had very much experience in this area? Would hook the injection system up to…

Would it be ok to use regular soil from the veggie garden mixed with blood & bone, home made compost and perlite? The only nutrients I currently have is Ionic. This is my second attempt at growing and I only have a small grow space (1.8m x .75 x .55) so I'm not after massive results.

Hi stoners, going to switch over to 12/12 soon, i've already purchased some nutrients and additives and was wondering if I need anything else to maximise my harvest and quality. Currently growing white widow in rockwool. I have been using the following for veg: Veg nutes Cannarhizotonic Zyme For flower I have: Flowering nutes Cannarhizo Zyme Potash Is there any obvious deficiencies in that list? and can anyone suggest what else i could use to maximise my harvest Thanks in advance

I had a homemade growbox before with 250watt mh and hps(flowering)lights. The soil i had was potting mix which i noticed drains really well but the soil dried out too quickly also the plants took ages to get tall enough to flower. What is the best soil or soil mix for me to use in a growbox as i cant use garden soil as i live near the ocean and everywhere where i live is sand.

Well, seems we aussies are doing it different once again . Going through the international forums I have hardly found anyone growing in 100% coco except the odd aussie, nearly all the growers in europe and the US seem to use a 70/30 mix of coco and perlite. I get questioned regularly about the lack of perlite in my grow, some are quite adamant that you need perlite to get good results from coco! I have been using straight coco for about 12 months without any issues with the water/feeding balance, which seems to be the most common reason people give for requiring the extra drainage (they say coco stays wet to long, not allowing enough feeding before risk of root rot). Ar…
