i was in a local hydro shop the other day and i noticed they had stopped selling canna coco bags,which was a bugger cos thats wot i wanted , the salesman said the new cocofibre from House & Garden was as good if not better and had all the RHP standards etc blah blah blah. Has anyone done a grow with this coco-does anyone really care. I think the salesman just sells wots hot that month or wot he got at a special price but needless to say i walked out of there with 6 bags of the stuff. hmmm

i've run systems with RO water in the past and have always been conflicted regarding the waste water level, the machine i have has a 1ltr good to 2ltr waste ratio,so when i fill a 200ltr drum of good,400ltrs is going down the drain. Obviously the quality is heaps better and the plants love it,they are getting full balanced nutes instead of 0.8ec of suspect properties(heavy metals etc), i use House & Garden PH Stabiliser to control the PH flutuation. i guess wot im trying to say is can we justify this water consumption for the health of our plants when they do grow with tap water just not quite as well. i'm in south oz and we clearly dont have much water about. does …

ok ripped my grow the other day, noticed mold in buds got rid of as much mold as possible. the clones were in a box nxt to the grow room. i have just been repotting the clones and on some clones ive noticed some mold growing on the main stems.. i have repotted all the clones but now i need to disinfect my grow room ?? how can i stop this mold ?? since the lights are now off there is shit bugger all humidity in the grow room. the clones have been repotted and are sitting outdoors awaiting to go back inside when safe. what can i do to stop this mold ? do i need to disinfect ??? glen 20 ??? cheers

ok, so my new indoor in a 3m grow tent has all gone moldy. have been quite busy the last week havnt had much time to check on them, went to have a look at them yesterday n noticed mold growing in the biggest buds. i ripped all the plants and have thrown away all the moldy buds and salvaged what i could. i am wondering what may of caused this ? i know it is strain dependant. the strain was skunk 1. feminised seeds. would too high humidity cause this ??

I have had some clones in rockwool for about 2 days now and yesterday I noticed that a lot of the clones had yellow leaves and that the rockwool cubes were quite light. I am not sure what I have done wrong as I soaked the rockwool cubes in a weak veg nute solution prior to putting the clones in them and the clones are sitting on top of a heat mat in a humidity box. I previous had the heat mat set to 35 deg but I though this was too hot, maybe this is the reason for the light cubes???.... I have now switched the temp down to 30 deg.... Hope this is okay?? I am not sure if I should re wet the cubes ?? .... I have also been misting the cubes once daily, I am not sure if I…

Just curious how others do it when changing cycles. when you minus the 6hrs do you take it away from the start,finish or something else. currently I'm on 18hrs (4pm to 10am) when i change to 12hrs i usually subtract from the end (4pm to 4am) I'm really wasted so hopefully it makes sense

howdy all.. not sure if this is the right room for this 1 but i just feel the need to vent my displeasure.. i registered my car today but it had been out of rego for 6 days, i hadnt driven it for those six days with the exception of yestetrday as i had to attend a friends funeral. from my house the funeral was about a 20 minute drive and when i was no more than a minute from getting there when snr cunstable buttslut drove by and got me on his little camera thingy that tells them your unregistered.. now although i didnt welcome the $500 fine, i accept it, i was doin the wrong thing and i got caught, shit happens... what rattles my chain is the arrogant insensitive prick …

I germinated 6 seeds a week ago in paper towels a saucer and water and they have all sprouted, now I know what the information is do not let them dry out but I did for 2 days so what do you think could of happened to them? I watered them again and they seem to be thriving ok about to plant them tonight what do you think it will effect the smoke; the plant?

Hello all, just a quick question, when growing on a really tight budget, what globe should I use. The cheapest option for me is this method, I can pick the whole thing up cheap at my nearest tandy lighting store, so using this setup, what globes should one buy? And how many would I need for say a 5ft(w) x 6.5ft(L) x 8.5ft (H) room? Or is that type of light just not worth wasting my time on, should I just save up a little first?
