General Cultivation Q&A

Hi Fellow Oz stoners, Latley ive been very keen to do a vertical SOG grow. Have seen the coli, cage and cube grows over at overgrow.com, and im just wondering has anyone tried this method of SOG growing before. The coliseum looks unreal for people who have limited space and wanting big returns for there light. ie. the 300 site coli has 1800 watt of vertical light and returns about 10-14 grams per plant every 56 days. Thats over 9 elbows or 1.25 grams per 30 days per watt of light in a 2m spare space. Any info would be helpful. Regards, Jack

HI Guys Been feeding two plants nothing but water the past 6 days and getting ready to harvest. This will be my first harvest and dry, so all help appreciated. These are the steps i'll be taking and questions I have 1) Put plants in complete darkness for 24 hours before harvesting. Is this necessary? 2) Pull out plants, cut at base, just above soil and then trim off all leaves. 3) Run safety pin through base stem and use that to suspect the plants upside down 4) Put them in a dark well ventilated area. Hi all This is a bit of a funny story about a poor abused plant that has been messed around, but somehow seems to be soldiering on and looks like it might be starting to flower. The background is that I grew six plants and this particular one was male. Well I thought it was male. After all the others grew white hairs..etc.. this one seemed to have no hairs and kinda mini sac things growing where it branched off. So I separated it from the rest. From there, I did not care if it lived or died so i put it next to my bed. Hey guys, i'm ordering some seeds and will be paying by mail, but after i had a look on the Australia Post website, i found that i am apparantly not allowed to send bank notes, at least to this particular country (England). The only other option i found was a western union money transfer, and im not sure if the seedbank im looking at will accept that (the seedbank is gypsy nirvana seed boutique) So i just wanted to ask how i am supposed to get my money to them, and if anyone knows if this seedbank accepts western union transfers?

im confused with the choice of nutrients can some one out there tell me whats best what works im useing dutch master gold at the moment not geting the growth im told i should be geting i get so cofused when in hydro shop with a whole wall of diffent nutrients and other stuff please help

Just a few sk1 and bcbb in 290mm pots bit of tying down done 4 days into flower should fill up n pack em on Using of feed em atm with PK 13-14 n liquid lead to come.

Thanks for any help provided, i'm moving to noosa for a year in August for work and want to know when i can put some seeds in (be bring seeds with me). i live in Perth now and here I would plant outdoors in Oct-Nov and harvest at beginning of Apr. Also whats the chances of finding some smoke when i get there - im 42 so bit hard to just hang out at the pub on a sat night but are there any pubs/places up that way that are easier to score in than others?
