everyone who has polenated their plants knows why they keep males a long long long way away from their females, but for the newbies and the ignorant here's a pic that simply demonstrates why. simple background on this situation... I had a small plant no bigger than a foot tall i germinated in early summer and kept it in a pot far too long for it to develop (since my yard has enough plants in it already) When i topped it, I made a clone of the plant and that too stayed in a pot to grow no bigger than a foot. After gender showed i moved my male plant to another location and then decided to plant my two 1 foot babies close to the male specifically to be polinated, time…

Am I right in thinking hydro grown weed takes less time than soil grown to reach stag where it can be harvested? If so how much sooner can it be harvested?

My bluelab truncheon failed. Email sent and they asked questions and eventually meter was sent across the ditch (NZ). Within 5 days of them acknowledging it's arrival a brand new meter was returned. I have been very busy of late but they emailed every few weeks asking how the meter was which eventually motivated me to mail it. Brilliant service...........cannot recommend enough. Got 6yrs out of my last one.

Hi guys Looking to do a new setup in a medium sized garden shed. Cant get to it too often , maybe 2 times a week , so I need something minimal maintainence and self sufficient previously done flood and drain with expanded clay works quite well but I have found salt buildup is an issue with this system . but its pretty resilient apart from that. any suggestions ? verticle height may also be an issue , I would guess about 1.6m is the hight of the shed. perhaps even soil ? any help appreciated

So I harvested my plant and I have frozen everything from the plant. I plan to remove them and throw it in a bubblebag. Should have i dried it out first? if so can I still? If the trichs are still good in their frozen state should I go ahead with the bubble bags or pull it apart, grind, dry, chop before the bag?

Hi - this is related to my last post, but I decided to attach pictures. Background - they have been on 11/13 for 14 days now. I switched the nutrient brand and also the fomular type - went from veg nutes to bloom nutes. Also, the temperature at night when lights are off is dropping a fair bit because we've nearly entered winter now. I am a little worried that maybe I have underfed nutrients or maybe overfed and watered. The coconut fibe seem a bit dense and a little moist below the surface, but nothing too dramatic. Anyway - first two photos show the purpling the stems/branches. previously they were green. Second two photos show the plant with yellowing leaves aroun…

Hey all, long time lurker first ever topic post (yay) Just wondering as to what the general go is with keeping your plants warm during the night when flowering? ie in a 12/12 cycle, how do you keep your grow warm if the temp in the grow area drops? Mate of mine is planning a grow in his shed in a cupboard and doesn't think temp in winter will be a problem, hope he's right i guess...
