Hey, There are so many bloom additives out there so im a little hesitant to get anything just yet. I have 2 weeks to decide. can anyone help me out with a good product? Cheers

Hey all, This is my first post and I am completely wet behind the ears when it comes to growing. I have a few questions that my online reading hasn't answered (Largely due to lingo and "growers" terms ). Firstly I am just wanted to grow small for now, perhaps maybe 1 or 2 plants just to see if I can actually yield something so it's more like a project than a "need" for the current moment. My questions are: 1)Is it possible to actually grow 1 or 2 healthy plants in a "grow box" type setup? 2)Where can I source seeds of different strains? Any constructive replies or advice is greatly appreciated

Now for my question: I missed the start of season last year and have tried to veg some plants indoors to take outside, I was looking for some opinions on whether this will work? I live in Western Australia and I have 4 plants and 2 clones that have vegged in a small double closet, Considering 4 of the plants have been on 18/6 for 2.5 months and are about 3ft tall, do you think it is possible for me to take the plants outside for flowering this late in season? winter only seems to be just kicking in where i am situated. Our outdoor temps are around 22 deg max and 9 deg min, but…

1) Thinking of planting my seeds in Searles potting mix. Lable says its suitable for potting most plants - will it work for canabis? 2) Thinkin of adding blood n bone, mnure & Urea to the mix - would this be beneficial? 3) Can anyone reccomend a good fertilizers for vegetive & flowering stages? 4) Is it possile to ovrdo the fertiliser? 5) Which is best liquid or peleted/powdered fertiliser?

Hello Just wondering if this is a good nutrient for a beginner? If not can someone please suggest something that will show positive results but won't send me to the point of poverty please All help appreciated

hey folks.. as mentioned im setting up a system similar to sukonmiskunks recirc system in perlite.. i am wondering when i top up my resi daily, should i be adding straight tap water ? or should i have an EXTRA resi setup, with a heap of fresh water with an extra airpump in it ? that way i can top up the resi frm the grow rooms with this additional PH adjusted resi ?? should i adjust the ph of this 3rd resi ? also, the local hydro chick says for my recirc system i should run nutes for 6 days, and straight water for 1 day. So flushing the system once a week to remove excess build up of nute salt ?? i thought this was only done once or twice throughout the grow ? …

i cant seem to get in contact with sukonmiskunk - else id ask him/her directly. my comp seems to freeze up whenever i try send a PM. for his/her recirc setup with the 8 pots in perlite - im running the exact same system but in a system of 12 pots instead of 8. i am just wondering how often the water pumps will need to run ? 15mins every 3 to 4 hours someone said???? and how much water am i looking to feed each plant each watering ?? im near ready to do a test run of the pumps and all the plumbing, but i am just wondering how much water im looking to average per pot per watering ?? thanks EDIT - I WILL BE USING ALL PERLITE ASWELL..

allrite, well everytime i seem to take cutting, the leaves seem to go yellow and die off. between 20-50% of the growth dies before they shoot roots. After they shoot roots the clones pickup with 7 days and are helathy again. But at this stage all the clones are at an uneven rate of growth. i am trying a SEA OF GREEN style grow in my new rooms. So all clones need to have healthy even consistent growth. Therefor i need to set all the paramaters correct. Am I right thinkin that hps light will encourge faster roewth compared to flourescent tube lights? 2) If flouro tube is used, will the bulbs found in hardware stores (used to light kitchen/workhps) be adequate?

Hi Fellow Oz stoners, Latley ive been very keen to do a vertical SOG grow. Have seen the coli, cage and cube grows over at overgrow.com, and im just wondering has anyone tried this method of SOG growing before. The coliseum looks unreal for people who have limited space and wanting big returns for there light. ie. the 300 site coli has 1800 watt of vertical light and returns about 10-14 grams per plant every 56 days. Thats over 9 elbows or 1.25 grams per 30 days per watt of light in a 2m spare space. Any info would be helpful. Regards, Jack

HI Guys Been feeding two plants nothing but water the past 6 days and getting ready to harvest. This will be my first harvest and dry, so all help appreciated. These are the steps i'll be taking and questions I have 1) Put plants in complete darkness for 24 hours before harvesting. Is this necessary? 2) Pull out plants, cut at base, just above soil and then trim off all leaves. 3) Run safety pin through base stem and use that to suspect the plants upside down 4) Put them in a dark well ventilated area. Does it matter if a little bit of daylight seeps through or does it have to be complete darkness? 5) Leave to dry for 4-5 days, then cure if they're sufficie…
