Does it slow down the flowering if i start the plant on flower nutes when i turn the light to 12/12?

Hey guys an gals i was havin an argument with a mate and he wont believe me when i say you want the light on the leaves not the buds can someone help us out on this one

heya all i planted some bagseeds (so i have nfi what they are) about 2 months ago and they are doing well they are only about 150cm tall, with decent leaf growth and they look healthy - also they are outdoor plants in pots. now my question / explanation is, that im going on holiday in about 8 weeks - now i assume from what ive been reading most plants are on a 8 week flowering thing. casue im going away there wont be anyone to water / look after them and i cant really set up any indoor system atm. so is it possible to make them start flowering now? i dont really care about a large harvest - as i have about 25 other seeds from the same bag so i can always plant some …

I have 6 plants growing guerilla in the bush that are about a month old but not that tall. most likely 10" give or take. The problem is I have rain forecast this next coming week. I know they're in veg and obviously rain is good....but from your experience (other outdoor growers) what is going to happen with a forecast like this on my youngins? Roughly there will be 5-10mm Friday then 20-40mm Saturday , then less than 5mm sunday, then back to 10-20mm Monday and then 5-10mm Tuesday. After that i hope for gods sake it is sunny for a while. They're getting good sun at the moment and have been since they were transplanted to their new home, I don't suspect these rain…

I live in victoria and would like some suggestions on a cheap and readily availible growing mediums.

We have all heard our friends "fishing" stories on how they grew a mommoth bud, like 2 ltr coke bottle think and 3 ft long , and this year I wanted to see if I could produce a massive effort.. so I collected some strains from mates and around the place and came up with 3 strains 1. White rhino 2. Red devil and 3. The Fruits (this one is tasty , mainly sativa ) all produce big buds (so far) and all are worth smoking , so I got the goods ready clone them veg them then put them out side with the smallest being about 2 ft tall and biggest being 4 ft tall ....and bang went to head straight away, thought I hardend them off proply but apperantly not ...(thanks chronmasta f…

I recently purchased an expensive quality (supposedly) PH stick. PH2 ecotester by EUTECH (OAKTON). I have the problem of it climbing in ph rapidly from 7 to 10 in minutes. I tryed to recalibrate it and it was so high it callibrated ph 7 buffer (new lab grade) as ph 10. Is this a regular problem and if so how do people get a regular and accurate reading ie 5.8 as opposed to 5.5 etc?? any help would be great thanks guys..

Hey guys, I've got a lady indoors under a 400w HPS, roughly at 3rd or 4th week of flower (not exactly sure), but basically want it to be finished by christmas, because i am moving out of my apartment at the end of december and so will need time to get the carpets done etc, after which time I will be relocating interstate. It looks possibly sativa dom and is currently in a 20litre pot with a soil/coco/perlite mix, (each roughly 1/3), and im just using a simple flairform 1 part flowering nute, with some bud steroid until week 5, then pk 13/14 week 6 then flush. What I was wondering was, if i change the light from 12on 12off to 10on 14off, will the plant finish sooner withou…

G'day all, Been out of the game for a cpl years now however have started using my beloved equipment and tools again which had been neglected under the house for too long! So I have heaps of left over nutes and additives from the last op and am a little scared of using it all again... I've been using with no ill effects the remaining grow/flower A&B (all were nearly full bottles heh) so no problem there, however i'm worried about using the additives. I've got half a bottle of Microbial (root zone preventative) and ozi tonic/monsta bud aswell however I won't use them until I get some more opinions on 'how old is too old' for this sorta stuff?
