General Cultivation Q&A

Evening, Tiss my first post, I must say I quite enjoy the site. Question: Is it possible to grow a mother outdoors? All the tutes I have read relate to growing clone mothers indoors under lights. Is there a reason for this? I am assuming not being able to control natural light would effect the plant and at some point it would begin to flower. Could this be overcome by cloning a mother and stressing it in the veg stage to try and prevent it from moving into the flowering stage? Would be nice to have a plant around the house all year round without having to run lights constantly Cheers in advance and also sorry if I am being overly newbish

Just wanted to update and share these... Been on 12/12 since sunday... they're now showing their beautiful feminine side Taking clones in the morning... Biggest one stands about 1m tall... smallest about 450mm.

just got a new system up and running as the one i have going is running well and i am feeling a bit better about the whole indoor thing.I have used clay balls and did not realize that they would be so persistant in pushing my ph up.Is this just a case of persisting with ph adjusting until it finally stabilizes.Should have done this before putting plants in but didnt know until too late.

ok here are my 3 babies starting off. pretty good imho for bagseeds so yeah should i split them apart and put in a row of 3 in new soil? for for spread of the light im gonna put em under? or keep as is and the transfer to larger pot later on?

Hi everyone im very glad I found this website and all its useful posts. I've been reading them for sometime now, and im still a bit overwhelmed at how much information is here that I cant really understand what I could use in my situation. Now a little about myself. I've been smoking marijuana for 3 years. 4 weeks ago I found a seed in my sack of chronic so I decided to plant it. I went into my garage and found some organic soil that says it has sandy loam? wetting agent, rich compost and encourages the growth of earth worms ( im not really sure if this is relevant ) Any who my plant has been growing for a little over 3 weeks now http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/135…

there is an article on the net about electroshocking plants to increase certain chemical prodution, i was wonder if any person has tried this and what were the results/ will be trying out on a girl in 2 weeks when i turn them back to 12 hours

Hi, i was thinking about getting some Auto seeds but i dont want to have to keep buying seeds everytime i want to grow, as its my understanding that you cant get clones as they will flower (correct?) so they only way not to keep spending money on seeds is to grow a male ect correct?

Has anyone here tried this tartukan death weed?i wouldn't mind getting my hands on some cuttings if it is what its cracked up to be.

Howdy again just wanted a bit more advice on this big sucker. Ive had lights on 12/12 for 4 days now. This is the big lanky am hoping she's a girl. Or is it too soon to tell?
