Hi all I mucked up SCROGging my plants, see below pics .. and have my two lights now attached directly to the top support bar of my tent. I have two weeks left 'till harvest (I suspect longer due to all plants still having clear trichs) and am unable to lower my plants again, so have turned the ballast down to '400W' instead of 'super' setting I would've had them on if plants were not so close to lights. I have 2 x 600W HPS Cultiv8 lights .. with fans running both top and bottom of tent. The pic doesn't show it well, but I can stand up under them, I'm 168 tall .. I need a step ladder to see the tops - you can laugh if you want to. Anyway, I'd really appreciat…

I've got 4 NL fems germed in small rockwool cubes now. Plan is for them to get under a 600w hps. Veg for maybe 4 to 6 weeks then go to 12/12. I have 1gal and 3gal fabric pots which I'll fill with vermiculite and perlite. Theyll be fed by my recirc system which I can time to water however and how much I like. If planted in the 1 gal fabric pots I know they'll dry out quicker but thats OK as I'll just feed more regularly. Should I expect a lower yeild from the 1 gals as compared to the 3 gal pots or similar if I water the 1 gals more frequently? The reason I'm considering the 1gals over the 3 gals is because they sit on the lid of my tote which is used to catch ru…

Can’t find anything on here about how long you can keep a mother plant going without loosing potency. Have genetics that have been cloned from clone a heap of times. According to the interweb some say a strain will loose potency after being kept for too long. Any real experience would be appreciated Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Anyone shed some light on my situation. Got roughly 30 seeds from seedsman, germinated and most were good. Planted 24 seedlings, it long after they just started dying,in the end I had 3 large plants left a few weeks ago. My biggest plant died last week and my last 2 are looking average. I used a different potting mix this year and I think that might be the fuck up. It was a expensive Bailey's with slow release fertilizer. I've up loaded a couple of pics of the last one alive. Cheers legends

So should I attempt to fix what I assume to be a manganese deficiency or just leave it until harvest? My guess is 2-4 weeks away but I don’t have magnification to look at trichomes. Slight browning of pistils but not a true indicator. Let me know what you guys think, cheers Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Hi. I'm new to growing and was wondering if anyone has had anything to do with Dr. Greenthumbs TurboDirt? Is this too rich at the start or can I just use this and not worry about anything else except water? Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Hey guys just doing some random stoner thoughts and am wondering some things about how plants grown in shade behave. I'll sort of know for myself once we get our first harvest done as we've got some shaded plants, but am wondering about others exp too. I understand the plants wont grow as big and vigorous as plants in full sun, and the yield will suffer. But what are the nugs like? Is it possible to create the same high quality nug, albeit in lesser yeild, from a shaded plant? Or will the nug be airy and crap no matter what? Could pruning the plant to such a point that their is only one or two nug growth sites enhance the plant energy going into those nugs making them d…

Collected male pollen in moccona jar over last few days. Added pinch of plain flour to keep things dry, and stored in fridge. Plan to make babies as soon as rain and wind clears. I'll pick a calm day, and wash hands, change clothes etc. to avoid accidental pollination. I'll dust a branch each from handful of different strains with a small brush. Plan on dusting a lower branch on each. Do I dust the entire length of branch, or just a few inches, near tip? Im after about 100 seeds from each plant. Mood music, scented candles, poetry and chocolates are ready. Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

What’s everyone put into there plants once flowering kicks off, seen what some people use in threads but coming back to the same question is high phosphorus a necessity as a lot of people seem to opt for just high potassium Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

hey all, after some advice on an outdoor flood and drain set up for next season indoor plan is: seed - mother - clones in 1-2" rockwool outdoor plan is: - rooted rockwool clone with 100% super coarse perlite (large 5-10mm) all around in a 3" net pot in a 20l bucket mounted on the lid for a recirculating flood and drain - area for grow will be up to 2.5 meters high, plan on making a green house with 30% shade cloth and clear corrugated poly roofing questions: would the 3" net pot support the plant ? would a 3" net pot vs a 6" net pot reduce yields? in between flooding i figure the roots outside the net pot will be fine in the bare air in…

G’day organic/biodynamic No-Tillers Been noticing lately that there are a few stores selling soil amendments in Australia - one at least seems legit, but some of the others are very questionable … one even uses the word ‘Organic’ in their business, but doesn’t sell any organic components. Thought it might be time to start a thread where we can list our organic suppliers. In this situation … I’m thinking those that are certified by Australian organic/biodynamic/demeter organisations would be great. If that is not possible, either organically grown/sourced in Australia and are known to be free of the ‘cides’ or lastly … have organic certification from other countries. O…
