The hemp/cannabis plant

This is one of my greatest ponderings on the hemp/cannabis plant. For I have not seen any mention of heirloom seeds for this plant. What appears odd is that their are so many hybrids/genetically altered hemp plants, but I know of no place to get heirloom seeds for the sativa / indica / ruderalis differing hemp types. I have searched quite a bit for this but they just don't seem to exist. This leads me down a line of thought making me think that these plants are alien to this world to some extent, now that really sounds crazy but, where are the heirlooms are they just really difficult to find/get? Are they no longer in existence? If you don't know what a heirloom is…

My story of marijuana in the real world
by cybergenesis- 7 replies

Every debate in the media seem to always bring up the issue of mental illness in regards to cannabis. Its always portrayed as something having negative social effects. Especially among the young, teenagers, troubled people. My observation with Cannabis is that even in extreme cases the consequences of consuming cannabis are surprisingly benign- even in highly disturbed and volatile people. I believe many people incorrectly associate characteristics of disturbed and undesirable people that smoke cannabis (traits they would have anyway) with the effects of the cannabis. Like racism a rational discrimination develops. They blame the cannabis for the way people are, and rea…

Victoria to ban bongs.
by Nooby- 8 replies

Following the other states in the dash towards facism and rampant stupidity, the coalition has promised to ban bongs if elected. Always a sure-fire vote winner with the sheeple. Of course this will save Victorians eleventy bazillion dollars a year because of 'all the physical and mental' harm that this 'very dangerous' drug causes. This will also boost the population of Victoria as there will be less stoners around to eat all your babies. Time to start writing letters to your pollies folks telling them that you will not be voting for them if they take this further step back into the dark ages especially as it based on the usual lies and misinformation. Also some lette…
