bugs for bugs mate !

But I asked my local hydro store and they buy in bulk for other customers so works put about half price since they pay for quarantine to WA . Approx $25 a tube or if I order from bugs my self with quarantine works out about 40 a tube

If ur in Queensland Bugs for Bugs operate from there so might be no fee ?

I use Growrite and Budrite,,,I think that most brands are much the same.

Not only is perlite cheaper, but its so light that you can carry 200L at once, bit of a balancing act though.

 

Yes mate, I loose about a foot of height in my room by lifting my pots for drainage. Run to waste might be an option if you can't spare the height.

all good I got 2.8m ceiling in my cool room style shed so just means I gotta raise the wooden screen I set up and put some pallets underneath [emoji108]

Got a 250 isomax and carbon filter for extraction up high and I scrog .... thinking I might even do 4 in coco and 4 in vermiculite under 600w hPs (I have 2 lights side by side in a section 2.2long , 1.5 depth and whatever tall ) and do a comparison grow with some clones [emoji2]

If I used just perlite could I use the Canna Aqua Flores nutes on a recycling setup constantly pumping and draining ? Or would you want to give it a break so like 15mins on 45 off ??

 

I ask because I have about 4 litres of the stuff left

The Canna juice should be perfect. I wouldn't feed continuously, i said impossible to over water but that might take it close. I feed for 5 mins every 4 hours at the most. SE might have some other ideas?

 

If you do a side by side I'll follow it for sure.

Cool mate , so you do a perlite only ?

Ahh ok. So pretty much the same feeding cycle as coco if not slightly less I’m understanding ? - do u use 70 % perlite in the ratio feeding once a day?

Sorry for all the questions just trying to get all the facts and put them in my notes so whichever way I go I have the info

Just my 2 and a half cents jimboss, I moved from coco to perlite and am just using the coco a + b nutes and getting vigorous growth. I feed 6 times a day but only 20 second bursts when lights are on and 10 when lights out, so total of a minute and a half a day and getting run off in a 22 litre pot. I don't think I'll be changing anything going like this
