Geez this went off a bit, didn't intend to start a shit fight.

I've ordered the 250hps, least it's tried n trusted, for now, MH with it.

The voltage controller I spoke of, just limits, I use it on a heating element in a still, to bring it back to a calm rolling boil, how it would affect a lamp I'm not sure, need to look into it more before use.

I have small fans set up for tent also. Don't think heat be a problem.

So I'll be on T5 then move to the hps once plant established.

If your space limited, your space limited, it is what it is, and I'll do best I can n see how we go.

I dont expect bumper crop, but if nothing else I'll learn experience.

That looks pretty good K9 but all depends on how big the tent/wardrobe is and being a cool tube it will work well in smaller spaces that's for sure.

 

Love the cool tube NewBud as I can get the light as close as possible to the plants and max out the space. I have a 600 hps cool tube and by running the fan through it and sucking out the heat from the globe it also doubles as air extraction in the tent

Op's tent size is a little small for a 400 I recon as it will produce a fair bit of heat and if it was a cool tube it would still throw out to much being 50cm X 90cm X 120cm high.
