Seed sprouted upside down

Hey gang

I’ve started a few seeds in my propagation dome and a few have sprouted but I swear one of them is growing upside down ?

The taproot seems to be going towards the heavens (the light )

I’ve attached a photo - I usually put the seeds in the right way down but usually they find their own way anyway - maybe in rockwool it’s more common if they don’t have enough room ?

 

Is there anyway to save it by maybe cutting the rockwool and putting the taproot into another piece of rockwool upside down or anything ?

 

Not sure if it’s seed genetics , Had an order from Seedsman of about 40 seeds total with 5 different strains and the germination rate has been about 15% some have even started and then died but some were rock hard and never popped theprevious seeds I ordered were about 90% success and I haven’t changed methods - think they may be older stock but I got ahold of them and they are replacing 30 seeds Arno cost so there customer service is outstanding !

can't see no pic, but I'd go with the rockwool theory you come up with. Gotta keep that tap root moist and in the dark. It'll right itself eventually.

looks more like deformed stem/trunk

 

not much you can do about it. 

 

let it go, see what happens,

 

dont think its gonna survive but.

At a guess, I'd say the that the baby leaf has some how been trapped. Then the root has grown and found resistance in it's growth. Something had to give because of the continuous pressure and in this case it was the root. Just a guess.

I didn’t think it was the tap root myself. Looked like a stem that didn’t throw out cotlydons
