They have a website, it's a landscaping supplies joint and have a fair bit of stuff, there's potting mixes they have that I had thought would be worth a look but I was going there to get a major input for my own soil so I couldn't be fucked.

 

For $45 this stuff is great value. I saw the same bale somewhere in NSW or Vic advertised at $120.

Even if you don't mix your own soil, everybody should have some of this if you do any kind of gardening. You gotta hydrate peat, takes longer than compressed coco, peat when dry is very hydrophobic.

When hydrated and fluffed up it feels real nice.

 

I'm gonna look at the big ones papa. Not sure I could afford to fill em!

I have a batch of 4x 85l pots, I have been prepping since January.

Good soil life. Got maybe 70l, so could nudge 20 us gallons with a top up and generous top dress at transplant. Losing time for a decent sized photo to go off in them this year.

Hard to move around though.

 

Lloyd, 52l much easier and have a good few of those going with 35-45l in each.

32l I'm using for my latest effort with the autos. Final pots, decent life in the soil etc. So very nearly went 35l in a 52 but hoping around 26/27 l of decent soil will be enough media for a good show of the genetics.

I went with the 32l pot even if it will need watering a bit more than a 50. Moving around is a bit easier which is a factor.

 

Just hope the soil life will be as good as more media, it should be alright, on the lower end of what you end but I reckon be fine.

 

Also, deeper pot for autos? The 32l at 27l soil a bit higher than 35l in a 50l pot

Fast buds :-(. Shame they don't get much bigger. These are pretty much fast duds best work too. They have done you well papa. That's a pretty good effort on your behalf.

 

Looks like you will get some decent smoko papa, so that's the main thing. Yield not so much but the smoke should be quite nice indeed. Nice organic outdoor buds for new years. :-)
