Oh no... GG4 gone rogue

Recommended Posts

So not gonna do the ones that came today straight away... I'll do them while I veg the next lot of photos. Instead i soaked a whole bunch of seeds i produced from CSed clone of the Fastbuds CBD Crack last year. The parent produced almost 6.5oz so I have high hopes for the daughters. However they are going under sunlight until they start to flower then they'll go back in the tent once the bluedream is done and can take as long as the like under the 12/12 with the photos. It'll be my first semi outdoors grow... I'll start its own diary once they are worth writing about.

Femme often shit themselves during re vege and drop balls. GG#4 is very susceptible to this. As its not really more then a hermi seed that had a male thrown at it once. Got cloned, got reversed. Such amazing breeding not at all random blind luck and hype.

Careful. Watch it like a Fucking hawk if you re vege it. Good luck. [emoji4]

That's the problem with femme seeds. 're vege will fail most times. Regular don't have this issue vs femme. They still can self rhodelized (drop balls late in life/flower/re vege). However CS, STS and remember most bean companies use GA3 (the worst). GA3 is cheap and easy produces mostly femme offspring, but as your manipulating GA3 in the plant to male levels... you get boys and hermi but "mostly" girls.

If the plant has only X chromosomes,it doesn't matter how you try to make it produce pollen ,,it will only produce pollen with X chromosome.

I've revegged a few plants from feminised seeds and didn't get any hermis from them.couldve been lucky ,,don't know for sure but I guess it's something to do with the fact that the plants I revegged had only female X chromosomes.

As I understand it the Femmed seed contains only XX chromosomes. By various methods the female plant can be forced to produce a pollen sack, but this sack contains only XX pollen, so you only get XX seed because there is no Y component at any stage of the seed production.

So even with Rodelization the pollen produced is still only XX, thus producing an XX seed.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm very interested. I'm going to use Colloidal Silver to produce seed, thereby circumventing the need to buy seed for the varieties I like.

They all say "99 point Something " feminised.

Don't know what to expect from the "point something "

Male or hermie ?

Me not know.

You and me both, that is why I'm interested. Nothing is 100% given, that is why they probably go through the process multie times and say the seed is stabilised.

Me not no either.

spelling lol
