Outdoor Sativa yellowing

Recommended Posts

I have an outdoor Sativa in a large pot, i was using ‘thrive’ all purpose nutrients through veg then was told to go off that and onto a ‘potash’nutrients for flowering. There has always been some yellowing but it’s getting worse. So I have stopped all nutrients for now and just using water. I’m fearful that my plant will die completely before harvest.( approx 6 weeks away).

This is my first grow also.

Pls help me

Leaf yellowing is generally from a lack of nitrogen. The thrive would have had the nitrogen in it along with the potassium and phosphorous which potash has higher levels of. Potassium and Phosphorous is great to give a boost of in flowering but you still want to have a bit of nitrogen in your feeds.

This is just what I've found through researching my own leaf yellowing. The leaves won't go back to normal green, the damage is done, but it shouldn't kill it.

I'm certain a more experienced member will come along with some advice. I wouldn't feel right giving you advice that hasn't personally worked for me. I'm still very new at this and I'm still just stumbling along through it lol.
