I know all up and down the Bruce. Rain comes, drys, winds. Then the Bruce gets cut in places with bushfires. Happens regularly.

I take it your new to Queensland. To start with they clear vegetation along the Bruce a few times a year and hello anywhere from Bribie up is bushfire prone a few weeks after heavy rain.
