Best way I store them is

Allow them to sit in a bowl for a few weeks to harden once they have been picked, and the outside coat will develop a better oil colour and sheen ...discard the bad ones.make sure there is NO KIF in the bags ......place

in bags in a jar  the jar is then...wrapped in plastic bags x3 and taped up and then buried a foot deep under say a barn roof or something covered out of direct sun no water and  with a dirt floor .

The temperature stays constant /dry and they are out of the light and will store for decades....make a treasure map or you will forget where they were   ;)

You should always split your seed collections up and always have two sites in the ground at different locations and then some at the handy .You will never be out of viable seed.Breed every year or every 2nd year. And you wont have hemorphidite problems.

wait till I load it up an edit it come back in 1.5hrs man you guys are stoned there on your slow blocking me server

This might go over some peoples heads too ...I am a big thinker in genetics and breeding .

For those people skip to the last paragraph at the end.

So if you look at the chart and actually just look at the shape of the seed ....get rid of the names ....

even autoflower .

I'm talking origins at this point ,

The smaller sativa varieties originating from all over the world .distinction was ...well a small seed.

So say we base the first seed originated in the indian/asiatic world...the sativas when pure and interbreed had a smaller true to type seed.

any brand names are just purely for teaching not anything elses

if the sativas have characteristics of being small and no bottom ,and and indica's harder  and a more 3rd eye appearance at the tale ,

The characteristics are

Colour

Shape

Oil colour

Whether it has a spline, around   its edge ,or teardrop sativa

the old hemp have definite lines distinct from tiger marks

rising from the petiole

1From two seeds on the right

after 3 generations it has shown all the characteristics between the sativa on the left small and the afghanica on the right

and from these all the characteristics are reflected in the leaf ,the pattern on the seed ,the colour the shape and what region of the world its from

if you look at the very end...we can split it into 3 categories

sativa narrow closed ...some stripes/ no stripes

elongated kissing spout end /volcanic look longer ,

some revealing the hash plant and original tan brown indian hemp

to asian greys

to 3rd eye look in the kush /afghan indica x and the endless hybrids ,Colour says as much as shape .
