Interesting frazz, i thought i read that they do absorb a small percentage (10%?) Of green light however the majority is reflected

Yes a small amount, but it doesnt trigger the plant when its dark..So safe to inspect while in flower.

Indoors are much more sensitive for some reason, I cover or disable any LED's on electrical equipment even.  No to red lights, but green and only green seems to be fine, I've been using a green light for urgent lights off work for years with no issues.  Something to do with the plants can't absorb it so it doesn't wake them up?

I struggle to understand it as a full moon puts out fairly bright light, but for indoors it is an issue.

Much more sensitive ... I had a issue a few years back with only one small spot on one plant turning hermi this happened at the same site on 3 or 4 plants over 3-4 grows Had me stuffed.

First I thought it was the inlet fan ,maybe cool breeze or light leak ..

Then maybe humidity as it was above an extra drain hole over the res.

Then while doing evening checks the light went out while I was near the spot.. And Guess what....

Little red light from my water heater shining up through the hole onto the spot in question How sensitive is that.. I'm Glade the heater turned on or It would have had me searching a lot longer.
