Your talking low pressure aero. That's how mine is setup. Roots get plenty of oxygen. Your res must have been pretty cool to have someone suggest a heater!? It is true that too cold will stop all uptake but I never thought I'd hear of that in Australia.

Na res was never cool I just think the guy had a heater he needed to sell and I was the idiot that fell for his spool.

Only problem I have is the res is to small so im going to change it to rdwc for my next grow. Think I might even use the old recycle bin for a res again

I tried looking at the other links you posted of your old setup but it didn't work for some reason. Looks like you are switched on enough to not need my help. At least you know to keep an eye on heat

Hey Gazza I cant get into your gallery for some reason. I assume you have a pic of a simmilar set up to what I had in the 90s. I was going to resurrect it but over the years most of it went walkabout. Basically all I got left are the bins. It worked well I just got these to dwc kits for a good price and they work well too.
