Experimentation is the key to success I hope haha..Went nuts last week and tried some trimming and more bending . It looked a bit sad for a few days but is recovering nicely now..

And the seedling getting its first 5 fingers ..The wind has been knocking it around so had to rig up something to hold it

Looks like your plants need more nitrogen bro! Maybe topdress with some mulch aswell for some organic matter

Don't take this the wrong way but I would turf your pov attempt at scaffolding and start concentrating on improving your soil mix. From the pics it looks like the soil has a lot of bark in it
