Early chop

Good morning stoners.

 

I was outside this morning thinning some leaves and saw the below cola and decided to chop it just in case it has something nasty. It doesn't look nasty to me, but then it's not worth the risk. The cola is from low down (bottom 1/3 of plant) facing North West. It was the only one I could find showing this brown patch, any thoughts?

yup, bud rot or mould

 

don't smoke it

Damn, in all these years that's the first time I've seen it.

 

I presume the un-affected parts of the flower are still salvageable?

I would turf that bud. There's a chance that the mold spores will become airborne and go into your lungs if you smoke it. And that's pretty bad

Mould. A few buds of mine had that. Youll find when you look inside that bud it will be furry and be worse than the outside. The worst!!
