BBQ cleaning

Ok, bit of a random one and not really cooking with canna Q but....

As some of you know I'm a pom and we don't BBQ much

So my question is what are your BBQ grill/plate cleaning techniques?

Beer and newspaper, bought products or something else?

What do you feel is the best way?

Yer we aussie fellas all have our way of cleaning the bbq plate.

 

Me i like to get the plate nice and hot then hit with the beer it helps lift all the crap off the plate then give a good scraping hit with beer again and bob's ya uncle she ready to rock.

What thickness?gauge SS did you use tig?
