First time growing

As far as fertilisers go, for growing in open ground I use dynamic lifter and dolomite lime. Dug into the soil before planting at the rates listed for vegetables... no need to wait before planting... just water the plants in well. Two months later, if they are still in veg, I'll top dress with the same again.

I've always grown directly into the local soil with the surface mulched.
