Is something attacking my babies?

Recommended Posts

Again, thanks guys. You've all been a big help. I can rest easy knowing that they ain't going to damage my plant, but only make it less attractive. :P

they look like little white flies tiny as, i brush my plant they fly everywhere, i got em bad lol

May I ask, are they doing a lot of damage? No plant should have to suffer an attack from these buggers. :)

That sounds more like White Fly than a leaf miner. White flies can be controlled with white oil, (or eco oil, neem, even a bit of olive oil and diswashing liquid in a litre of water... ). When spraying, you need to ensure the undersides of the leaves are treated as well as the top.

Tbh i have never experienced these insect problems, Just a mate a gave some veggie seedlings to, pointed it out straight away as leaf minor so I just rolled with what he said. Really gets into his researching of insects!!!

If i find myself some time, ill try get a good look at some of these flies and do some research online.

As far as damage, my plants don't seem to give one fuck, only noticable symtpom is tiny scars of chlorosis

Yup...

In smal numbers relatively harmless but keep on top of em without going too drastic, use the above advice or even buy a small bottle of Natrasoap if need be.
