when they pop

When seeds first pop, up to about 3-4 weeks old, can i give them 24hrs of light. I'm using fluro's. I've read alot about during veg growth 18-6 & flowering 12-12. But never read anything about the first 4 weeks. Any info would be gratefully welcomed

I'm doing that currently and my seedlings are doing fine. 130W CFL.

 

If there are any negative reactions, they're not big enough to notice.

 

Just make sure you have the light close otherwise you'll get the streeeeeeeeetch

hey just leave on 18/ 6 until you want to switch to flower 12/12

Can leave them on 24 if you wish but most prefer 18/6 some even use 12-5.5-1-5.5 wich works . Pleny of debates on the net as to people preferences. Hope to see you do a diarty mate

I never noticed any adverse effects when I was giving my liluns 24/0, but in all honesty I think some dark is a good thing. Even plants need to sleep.

Heya Kapow =) , I like to use 24/0 for new cuttings, to get em crankin fast. 18/6 for plants in veg and 12/12 for flower. But anything above 12 hours light should keep them in a vegative state, including 12/1 style.

Just keep using the one ya decide on, dont try say using a long hour veg cycle then change to 12/1 mid way, a good way to confuse ya plants. Start veg with one way, end it the same way. Peace. Nibbler.
