short flowring plant

Recommended Posts

hey guys

i'v just started my frist grow a few weeks back and i'v ran into a strange problem. i currently have 2 autoflowring fem plants going plantted 1 week apart, one of them is grow all fine but the other one is staying really short and it looks like its flowring already. i have had a fungus gnat problem but i got rid of them real quick with some DE. is there any reason why this plant is soo short? or is there anything i can do to get it to grow taller?.

healthy plant

short plant

I grew five auto's last year one was about 30cm the others only got to about 15cm. type ruderalis(spelling) into wikipedia it will explain all. in short (scuse the pun) they flower early because of the amount of daylight hours in the region they grow in. ideal for balcony grows or anywhere else that requires stealth, if you don't have a tent.

Auto's are still developing and the race is on, hence there is some crappy seed stock out there( IE inconsistancy due to poor breeding or not enough breading)

THe short ass plant will still develop well provided you are giving it a good home. I have found the stunted plants quite often are the most potent.

Don't give up on it at this early stage. The other plant you have is more the norm and will give up some good smoke.

What Breed of Auto is it?
