I always assumed the 2012 meant you were from the future, and have come back in a time machine to enlighten us. It seemed like hte most logical explanation to me

Ninja Scroll, Fist of the North Star, Irotsukidojo (hell in a box) are good.

Bible Black is interesting, the US imported version is a bit cut and mostly demonic porn. If you can get the Jap version it is much better.

 

Non Anime Faves: Fearless, New Police Story, Ang Bak, Kung Fu Hustle was a bit insane but very good, Seven Swords is also a must see!

TBH I didn't read the thread but I'm gonna assume these haven't been mentioned because they're kinda new.

 

FLCL which is a series that kicks ass and also a movie called Dead Leaves which I'd compare to crank because it's totally intense the whole way through and never slows down. I can't recommend these 2 enough.
