brown spots on leaves? cal def?

Recommended Posts

ahh good stuff getting a blu lab truncheon they are the go imo :applause:

yea look the old leaves are history, sometimes i over nute when they are young and those leaves do 'burn' and shrivel up dry with rust,

but watch the new leaf growth on the growing tip cause that will tell you how the plant is reacting to whatever you are feeding it

im thinking it was just a bit of over fertilization a wee bit too early .. dont panic and dont give any more nutes yet and watch closely for the next coupla days see what happens

if they in soil they will find more than enuf nutes for a while yet

all da best with 'em :peace:

cheers mate Still abit skeptical on this TMV but....checked her today and same story really lower sets of leaves showing brown spots, however all the new growth is abit weird ...its like sandpapery and just doesnt feel or look smooth...looks real rough?...... the outside edge of the new growth is dark green while the inside is light green really hope it isnt tmv:(....plant is giving off a real nice smell but stiinks everytime you open the cupboard

might do another flush:)

Heres a few more pics since the last update

took these pics just after another flush, how many litres of water do you guys flush with? i've been flushing with around 6 litres of ph'd water? pouring slowly around the plant with just average garden sprinkler canister thing

ph currently at 6.3 and ppm at 100 is this pretty good for tap water? got a airstone bubbling constantly in my water supply thingo

Do as the Rev says mate, flush em good and leave a day or 2 then just use the nute only. 1/4 strength is enough to get back on track once they`re flushed well.

TMV does`nt show symptoms like that, nicotine stained hands are`nt responsible for infection either. And you wont get it from commercially produced tobacco. In fact it`b be a long shot that the average gardener is ever exposed to TMV, ppl working in tobacco crops, tomato, potato, most forms of solanum may see it in their time...I spent years in the paddocks as a kid and never saw a case of it personally.

stop worrying about this bullshit TMV or do just as the shelia in the hydro shop says, and ignore the combined advice of 50+ years growing experience given in the preceding 2 posts

the lower leaves are not going to get any better ok ,there appears to be nothing wrong with the recent growth .. is there?

there is nothing wrong with your plants mate , except maybe a bit of over-enthusiastic feeding!

:peace:
