grow report: swt#3

hey,

 

don't have any pics at the moment, but the clone that was lagging behind has really started to veg nicely now.. I was hoping to keep the canopy as even as possible for light coverage, yield etc.... I am wondering what I can do now in order to even the plants out, I was thinking of letting the clone veg to a nice size, and pruning back the other two to about the same size, I know this will most probably end up with those 2 plants creating 2 colas... but with the branching structure of the swt#3 I don't think it will really make much of a difference, any ideas?

 

....the extra veg time isnt really an issue, I am willing to sacrifice that for end yield... I am open to opinion on this one...

hey,

Well personally i wouldnt wait for the lagger. If the other two are way over growing it, try to clone the top growing shoot. As long as they are 8-12" tall set them to 12/12. Theres little stretch and you should get a great yield. Waiting any extra weeks in veg could be an extra cycle you miss out down the road .

Ok ta stonedas and Tom, they are nearing 12" now so I think they will go under the HPS within the week, and yeah I was thinking of propping the smaller one up...

hey,

If you give it 40 watts a square foot till 4 weeks then up it to 80-100 for the last 4 you will end up with wrist size colas. Mold may be a problem thou depending on your conditions.
