The elusive bonzai?

Have I unintentionally created a bonzai-style plant here? She would be about 11 or 12 weeks from germination and just slightly taller than an average lighter... Using a diluted Seasol? solution to water and feed her. 20W Fluorescent light about 3-4 inches above the tip. Started germination outside, then after 2 weeks I brought her inside. Does anybody know why she is so short and undeveloped?

mate your potting mix looks pretty woody. What is your mix? Wood only releases its nutrients after a long time and with the help of fungus in the soil. Are you using the seasol conditioning thing or "liquid fertiliser"? the seaweed stuff is just a tonic like worm wee

 

you can also get bunk seeds. just a seed with dud genetics and no "vigour"

I'm just using a Coles brand potting mix but it's been sitting for a couple of years, so I imagine it would be a lot more decomposed and nutrient-rich

And it's the liquid fertiliser

A big reason is the 20w CFL.

 

Another is perhaps the genetics/it's from an immature seed.

 

You say it's indoors? ventilation?

Yeah, I thought it might have something to do with the lighting... I have a small pedestal fan for ventilation, but the growing space is less than 1x1 and I leave the door open during the day and at night after everyone is in bed

The seed was hard and speckled, maybe just bad genetics... There wasn't much root growth when I transplanted at 9 weeks... So idk...

That plant honestly looks no older than a week.

 

It looks healthy but honestly I don't see it ever recovering and producing anything. 12wks old? cripes.

She's still growing and I've moved the light higher up so she has more incentive to grow taller. I'll leave her for a couple more weeks, then start her on a flowering cycle. This is only my first grow, so I'm learning as I go. My mate who's cloning but also growing from seed said he has one about the same height, but it's two weeks old...

gona need moire light regardless bro, 20watts of cfl should yield u about.2 of a gram of weed......
