can't recall any talk about living off the land ... thought it was assumed from the healthy fare dished up by the farmer's wife.

 

can't recall a commune scene! but listen, I saw this film when it came out in the 70's. it was severely edited ... well, it was censored. and I 've seen it on tv again not too long ago. BUT sounds like you've seen a dvd or something with some added information?

 

the Fonda family were unusually disfunctional. so dysfunctional they get mentioned every now and then in studies to do with family dynamics (Social science: family counselling).

 

what did your wife say about the song/your burning? not much I 'll bet. women are much more here now than men are.

 

looks like you're much younger than me. I liked freedom stuff so much I went out and chased the dream. now I live the dream and it is GOOD.

 

but when you've achieved the dream all the hero stuff, like the sentiments of your song, goes away. that's IRONY.

Yes I have it on blue ray the quality of the picture is pretty amazing. It has interviews with the cast. If you have a blue ray player it's def worth it. I'm chasing the dream at the moment, the hard part though is dreaming the right dream. That's where I'm at. I'm am younger in my twenties. That film is timeless, same stuff still happens today.

 

My wife liked the song she said she could see why i would want it played. She wants a beetles song across the universe at her's. Things are a bit rough with my wife though at the moment. We may be heading in different directions, or more likely taking different roads to the same destination.
